Lore-wise, I think it's either because the non-elders are getting stronger and more capable of fighting back against elder dragons, or the wildlife is just finally getting used to them. If each generation is in fact a human generation - about 20-30 years - it's been at least a century since the Guild formed if not longer, and human activity is shown to change animal behavior in our own world.

Nothing challenging about this expansion at all. Weapons aren't even anything special at all, plus they are still only giving us capcom only related collaborations. MHGU was better in terms of collabs and event stuff, rise is just weak as shit.

Weapons have mediocre raw but pretty high dragon, good affinity, and good purple w/ handicraft lv5. Overall i'd say they're pretty good
