Terrorblade: "You fail to consider that I see everything" Invoker: "What you can see, I can imagine" I know it's been said time and again but INVOKER IS A MASSIVE CHAD
The voice actor playing Terrorblade, WOW. The way he deliver his lines gives me the chills. Not only does he tell the truth, he weaponizes it. Only those with the weakest of minds will in his words "LET HIM IN"
I don't think it's a matter of weak minds. I think the heros in the show have extordinarily strong minds. Imagine an entity appears to you. Tells you details of your deepest fears, forces you to relive all you're ashamed of, then promises to take it all away. Promises to give you all you want. SHOWS you all you want and you having it. I think a majority of people would fall for it. It's only easy to see through the lie from viewer perspective. In the moment, it'd be extremely difficult to toss your dreams aside.
What makes Terrorblade a truly frightening villain for me is how he can psychologically deconstruct his enemies. He's far from being omnipotent, but he truly does seem to know his targets on a personal level despite them knowing very little about him. The ease with which he can pick at your insecurities, plant doubt in your mind and make you question your entire life choices within a minute of conversing with him, making your mind vulnerable to his corruption, is unnerving. The Invoker is the only person in the show who has been able to match him in terms of wits, and even then Terrorblade is still able to trip him up every now and then, as his manipulation of Fymryn (Mene) demonstrates.
Terrorblade was one of my first favourite characters in the Dota game. A demon of fearsome wit who could not be contained. The Terrorblade that we saw in the anime blew me away right from episode 1 of season 1. It was only then that I began to grasp how truly terrifying Terrorblade was.

Comming back after 3 season i can confidently say this man has been suffering for melleniums.. eons.. created the universe 12000 times. Let go and killed his own daughter 12000 time the poor lad invoker.. damn it broke my heart seeing him like that in the final episode. The madlad literally outplayed everything in existence. He finally got his happy ending. After suffering so much. He was playing 26 dimensional chess with noobs stuvk in only 3d chess. Outplayed everyone in the fota multiverse
And to top it all off, his goal wasn't just to bring his daughter back, but to give her just a little more time so she can live a fuller life. What a father.
Terrorblades words never work on the invoker or Filomena , his words are at the highest point of exposing wisdom but invoker refuses to let any words be louder then his own, the invoker actually is motivated by others people confidence in themself. As if he can’t wait to prove you wrong, like when he drop the little god princess in space . He didn’t have to lay a finger on her, her confidence was so bright in her face he showed her the darkness behind her and she froze after seeing it .
Interesting his original name was Kael the Invoker based on Warcraft character Kael’thas Sunstrider who also made a pact with a demon, you could argue Kael’thas is a different version of Invoker. I’d expunge my name though if someone called me Carl
"i know the place she occupies" actually hits on like 3 fucking levels, and it's fucking deep too cos it's Terrorblade, so he can probably always see her if he wants to. So he means i know the place she occupies in his heart replacing his dead daughter, the place she occupies where she is hiding, and the place she occupies in the cosmos. So he's not calling Invoker out only on caring about her more than he pretends, but he knows where she is and why she is significant and he can reach her if he wants to
Oooo... Such clever use of words to control the opponent. You don't realize the older one gets, the more vulnerable he/she falls to the order of things, we each get stronger in ways but weaker in many others. I didn't care about my future once, now doubt regret n fear plague me in my 30's... Its only now I can feel the power of words that can crush a person's will, words that can haunt your thoughts n some thoughts become nightmares... Invoker is so vulnerable even though he thinks he's so superior. But not to terrorblade. Its such a game for him. 💯
This is the same as in the game lore, and the lore of the universe. Truly he used up a fabric meant to bost one intelligence, and used it up. His magic is focused on spellcasting in his sheer will. But he dismissing the fact he is quasi-immortal and can be killed if other higher party is at play, this is one of the moments his arrogance to show up, and was the same whit his daughter. I would say Mene got sick Filomena in order to show him his magic has limits. And only Gods has the power to heal diseases.
@@shakoimnadze7604 But you forget one fact, as it was mentioned Mene is Fymryn, and there are people suggesting that she was Filomena you know reincarnation.
it's so fascinating how Invoker pretends/believes how he still got empathy by putting a spider in a flower fields and proceed to assume a spider can enjoy a flimsy branches of a flower unable to support a web, and an open area prone to have strong winds and rain

@Sh Prime not really. Both of their arcanas are tied to each other still. Not quite sure what direction it will go though whether they truly will confirm or deny the connection. Immortals also share the same design.
Yes as far as her skill goes, she can blink, her weapon is similar to PA's initial weapon. Remember how she defeated Luna in season 1? @@dentangaji6161 Without getting into spoilers, Arcane takes place in the city-state of Piltover. Piltover is called "the city of progress" and features incredible feats of technology and art, but most of this is in the wealthy Hightown. Situated across the river running through the city are the Lanes; a veritable ghetto where the poor and unwanted reside. Years ago, the people of the Lanes rose up in rebellion against Hightown; but were brutally crushed by the better-fed and better-equipped Hightown enforcers. Since then, an uneasy peace has existed between the two. Hightown largely leaves the Lanes alone, and the criminal elements of the Lanes don't do anything to anger the city council and convince them to bring the hammer down again. This uneasy peace is threatened when two lowtown sisters, Vi and Powder, steal some prototype technology from a Hightown inventor, in order to prove themselves to their adoptive father, Vander. While Vander tries to resolve the situation with Hightown, an old nemesis of his, Silco, moves to take advantage of the situation. Meanwhile, the heist brings attention to the robbed inventor, Jayce, who was experimenting with illicit technology, attempting to combine science with magic. He must find a way to prove himself and his dream to the city council to avoid sanction and exile. The story deals with a lot of themes, including the idealism of the young verses the wisdom of the old, the bonds of family, the dangers of classism, and how the mistakes of the past haunt the future. Terrorblade is demon who always speaks truth ....
ALWAYS!
no he lies, remember in season 1 finale when selemene and tb were about to fight and tb told her that Filomena died hating her, now in season 2 Invoker says that filomena loved and prayed to Selemene to the day untill she died
@@shakoimnadze7604 i donot think invoker share filomene last expressions with tb ....tb says the hard truth that u nvr wish to listen
@@shakoimnadze7604 nope. He was accurate. Children who feel abandoned can be considered hate doesnt mean there isnt some love OR yearning

The way The Invoker outsmarts terror blade time and time again in countless realities
18 years i have watched anime and this is one of the greatest scenes I've ever seen animated and voiced. I come back to this regularly
The voice of terrorblade is robert baratheon from game of thrones
@@O6iI have to correct you I am afraid, for anyone else who comes and sees this.
The voice of Terrorblade is JB Blanc. He seems to do a lot of video game VA work.
Robert Baratheon is played by Mark Addy. As a side note, my favourite role of Mark Addy's was as Roland in A Knight's Tale.
@@christophermccutcheon2143 you're right thanks abunch! :)
@O6i wow an actually pleasant TH-cam interaction :p enjoy your day, man
everyone is so focused on what invoker said that they miss terrors retort."And, the girl?" you saw his heart sink. for a second their he though they were talking about his daughter.
Terrorblade is even better. That's the real TB I know from his in-game lore. I see why he scares everyone and everything
In this anime version of dota invoker seems to be passionate and a loving father while in the game version of dota he's egoistic and ambitious.
our invoker in the game is from a different reality but I do hope we get to play as the father invoker.
@@tomatowithaweiner nah, he prob just went a bit mad and psycho after thousand of years
@@gobira26 If you saw TB's mirror dimension you can see several versions of Invoker including the one from the game, Dragon's Blood is probably another reality because Dota 2 is all about multiverses.
Anime Invoker: i have to protect my daughter!
Dota 2 Invoker: Ahahahaaah! Did i hear a squeak? I must have stepped on something.
The way he says, “Interesting” is so satisfying
Man this scene, this talk.. give me infinity chills.
Soundtrack in this scene IS SOOO GOOOOD
Where can we hear it alone

invokers voice actor is fan bloody tastic..
Man, the delivery of terror blade voice acting is insane. They way he says "We bargain, you lieeee" Holy Potato.
Damnn I watched this part like 1000 times. The voice and the lines he delivered had sooo much energy
His chi that over power has streamed through his voice.
I love to play like hyper intelligent terrablade and invoker types in dnd and This reminds me of things that have gone down in those campaigns
Next patch meta:
High int TB with Shiva's, Scythe , Skadi, Y&K, dagon and BoT.
how would you build invoker in 5e
@@zielj5131 it’s not about building the invokes it’s about leveraging the levels of power the dm has put or you can insert into the campaign
1:25 dark artistry invoker
Terrorblades words never work on the invoker or Filomena , his words are at the highest point of exposing wisdom but invoker refuses to let any words be louder then his own, the invoker actually is motivated by others people confidence in themself. As if he can’t wait to prove you wrong, like when he drop the little god princess in space . He didn’t have to lay a finger on her, her confidence was so bright in her face he showed her the darkness behind her and she froze after seeing it .
1:12 What terrifying scene!! 😍 😍 Beautiful music and animation.
Using information as a weapon is playing on another level.
"What you can see, I can imagine we are evenly matched" is such a hard quote
Interesting his original name was Kael the Invoker based on Warcraft character Kael’thas Sunstrider who also made a pact with a demon, you could argue Kael’thas is a different version of Invoker.
I’d expunge my name though if someone called me Carl
Voice acting masterpiece! Love this scene
invoker>>>>>>>>>>>>>all
Facts bro really with the shits
I think Viceroy Kashurra is the shit Bro
I'd agree but Rubick exists
Just typical SEA server fight between Invoker and TB going mid
"i know the place she occupies" actually hits on like 3 fucking levels, and it's fucking deep too cos it's Terrorblade, so he can probably always see her if he wants to. So he means i know the place she occupies in his heart replacing his dead daughter, the place she occupies where she is hiding, and the place she occupies in the cosmos. So he's not calling Invoker out only on caring about her more than he pretends, but he knows where she is and why she is significant and he can reach her if he wants to
Terrorblade dismantling Invoker just with using reflection.
Invoker is not vulnerable lol, dude expunged his name so he can never be harmed, thats why Terroblade cant ambush him
@@CthRage8946 it was Selemene who gave the disease to Filomena, not Mene, Mene was already dead then
@@shakoimnadze7604 But you forget one fact, as it was mentioned Mene is Fymryn, and there are people suggesting that she was Filomena you know reincarnation.
@@shakoimnadze7604 but we do know his name.
it's so fascinating how Invoker pretends/believes how he still got empathy by putting a spider in a flower fields and proceed to assume a spider can enjoy a flimsy branches of a flower unable to support a web, and an open area prone to have strong winds and rain
Well, maybe the guy who knows everything doesn't understand how spiders work. Or maybe the creator don't know how spiders work. C'mon any normal people would step on the spider just because they have poison.
1:17 At the bottom right, it's Dota 2's Invoker with no eyebrows and blank monochromatic eyes.
Just amazingly written and voiced. I'm glad Netflix pulled this off so well.
The scariest thing is terrorblade always calm
For all complaining the sunstrike having Quas Wex Export orbs
Its an alternate universe, The Invoker have different skills as seen.
Perphaps his orbs have different properties to the in-game version which here is shown as the Invoker in other universe.
Its is clear they didn't intend to make exact same version of heroes in-game. Invokers eyes don't have iris in-game, there isn't any reference of Invoker's family and connection with selemene and terrorblade. He is totally a narcissistic egomaniac in game's lore while series Invoker shows soft emotions and empathy clearly.
I heard its a easter egg from dota 1 invoker that had had 27 spells and quas wex exort made soul blast u think
@@takloy9664 yeah.. totally forgot the prototype invo...
Even dota 2 Invoker had many learned spell refering to old invo with 27 spells, which he purged for other spells that he has now
No, it was the actual origin of incantations his sunstrike backthen
Or he just did three Exorts beforehand, cast Invoke, then switch to one Qua one Wex one Exort
Maybe the Invoker from other realities are more ego-maniac
I'm so hype about where fymryn is going now that she's with selemene.
what will she be? PA? TA? or a completely outside character from dota heroes?
can you imagine if she become *PHANTOM* assassin and then later turn into spectre? god, what a story
Fymryn gonna rise as the godess in Season 3
@Sh Prime not really. Both of their arcanas are tied to each other still. Not quite sure what direction it will go though whether they truly will confirm or deny the connection.
Immortals also share the same design.
faaaaaaaakkkk, that would be insaneeeeeee
She is the Avenger Spirit
Yes as far as her skill goes, she can blink, her weapon is similar to PA's initial weapon. Remember how she defeated Luna in season 1? She blinked all over Luna and cut her left and right just like PA.
Now that she is under Selemene's hood, she'll get some additional powers to become an Assassin > Phantom Assassin
Terrorblade to invoker: You have promised me seven creeps, you have left me only one.
Lmao
Arcane and Dragon's Blood feel like completely different shows. Arcane tells a story that's focused and intimate. The characters are written exquisitely, but we know almost nothing of the world outside of Piltover. Dragon's Blood, on the other hand, is a sweeping epic, following Herculean heroes grappling with gods and demons in a quest to save reality itself. Comparing the two is like contrasting Life is Strange with Lord of the Rings; despite their shared MOBA origins, the shows have very little in common. (That being said, Dragon's Blood would definitely benefit from increased episode/season length).
What's the main plot of arcane?
Well i think there is no real plot (for now) there is no end of the world big bad guy. You are following VI and her sister, jayce and victor hextech progress. I don’t want to spoil stuff because it is a really good show.
It's an excellent show, and I highly recommend it.
@@dentangaji6161 Borderline girl get mad cause her sister have a girlfriend and don't hang out with her anymore. What makes her go even more crazy until became a borderland character.

Invoker is the real genius in this series. So damn smart. But Marci T.T. and Lina T.T
talking about taking souls, it should've been SF. but TB makes a very good villan
yea but in the lore TB wants to recreate the world in his image and he needs all the dragon souls that represent the éléments of the dota world so he can us them and creat his new world
its not so simple like that, sf just collect souls cuz he's feel more powerful, TB want to recreate the world... is quite different
@@GabrielRodrigues-lz4ce wrong. SF steals it to deliver it to his master, SF serves a master and i would guess he takes orders from him. SF's lines when he died indicates how reckless and fierce his master is
