I bogged two scrubbing brushes to mine and use it as a scrubber with an old tub shampooer it is fantastic

The dirt doesnt fully wash out of the pad. I hand wash and keep rinsing and rinsing and gray and black dirty water keeps coming out.

Hello IBAISAIC. when you are cleaning up the used vintage vacuum cleaners you buy how do you wash the stretch hoses? is there a particular way to do it. i have tried it once before but i never got the hose clean.

I just use a cream cleaner like Cif after soaking them in a solution of biological washing powder. In the case of old Hoover hoses that have a metal spring inside them, I try not to get them wet on the inside.

I got one of these for 49.99$ at a store called “the Christmas tree shops” which is owned by bed bath and beyond. I kept it for a couple days and took it back. Wasn’t impressed at all. I kept the cleaners though haha
