But other than that, ABSOLUTE RESPECT for the entire performance. Chris just keeps hittin’ em deep. His arrival on the scene is well earned. Chris Stapleton is one of those artist like Ray Charles, Merle Haggard , George Jones , Otis Redding , he's got the gift to sing anything with anyone and not only keep it as good as the original; he owns it ..... he's a true trail Blazer but at the same time he is one of very few who can still make you feel the music

Sorry, I know this is like four years later and Sheryl and Brandon are wonderful singers, but Chris Stapleton to me is like a great Opera Singer that should sing on his own except when his sweet wife Morgane and mother of his children wants to accompany him.. And I bet I'm not alone in this feeling. How his voice resonates! ! ! ! It is truly a gift from the Creator, along with his ability to create the most beautiful songs like "Won't you let me take it back, Broken Halos, and dozens and dozens of songs like What are you lilstening to? Some remind me of ancient religious hymns.
