Wow! Once again, I am in awe of your sermon, Father Mike. You never cease to amaze me and encourage me to strive to be a better Christian. It's the only way to make sense of suffering, and it's what brought me back to the church.
Why must you "make sense" of suffering? Why can't you just accept it as part of life?
Beautiful! It is in the acceptance and trust of what is happening in this moment that God can make us like Him and help us become the fullness of who we are in Him. Nothing is wasted when we remain open to the love of God. Thank you, Fr. Mike!

Wow! As I just came out of Integrating Life’s Losses retreat and now hearing this, I just want to say, thank you and thank God. Whatever will unfold from here onwards, nothing was and will be wasted.
I have so many health issues and can't work. Some days I feel totally worthless, relying on my parents to survive. I'm still trying to figure out how to find my purpose in life.

I just got this scripture today on the parable of the wedding banquet… and it is really making me think about the importance of taking the call of God seriously. The call to a wedding… even to dress the part. It’s given me a new fresh outlook.
I am going to do my best to always be in celebration mode… that’s what we are commanded to be ready for otherwise we are to be thrown out into utter darkness!

It seems that the only thing that God wants from us and for us is our suffering. Suffering is joy?
God loves you simply because He has chosen to do so. He loves you when you don’t feel lovely. He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you always. No matter what!
