Ka is the rapper that really changed my whole musical outlook and landscape. I study his lyrics and have even written down my favorite barz! I really actively listen and attentively observe what is being said. It actually replenishes my energy rather than doing the opposite. He really is a true philosopher and a street prophet who doesn’t even do it solely for the profits! Everything he says is money though! I appreciate you spreading word on your platform! 💪🏿💪🏿🙏🏿
I know for numerous reasons you dont want to go making videos of artists backlog, but in light of Ka's passing it might make sense. I think his art has and will have a ripple effect, given his works are now finite its more valuable then ever contextualizing older albums. Honor Killed the Samurai, Days with Dr. Yen Lo, Decendants of Cain, and Orpheus vs. The Sirens.
This is nota review, its an accompanying piece. Thank you, was very educational. Met Ka few months ago during a Roc Marciano concert in Amsterdam. Very kind man. For some reason he doesn't do live shows though, he was just there chilling. Anyway, listen to his older albums!!! All of them. Don't let the system of your own choosing hold you back. They are same quality or even better..

As far as selling crack, he's implied it before in his 2016 album Honor Killed the Samurai and in 2020's Descendants of Cain, with the lines "Left for dead, start moving rocks like Easter Sunday" and "Surprised I didn't get high from what I was low enough to behold" He's truly top tier, love your videos.

I honestly think Woeful Studies is better than Languish Arts overall (sonics included). It hits closer to home in many ways

I came across Ka for the first time in 2022. Orpheus vs The Sirens is the project that's grabbed me the most but I love everything of his I've heard.
