I had a similar story to yours, about my first car. A brand new Mazda 6 ! It was crazy that without even telling anyone about it, God provided me with that car through my dad (back in 2006). My dad wasn't even looking at that car, but God put it in his heart to get me the exact model, engine type, and colour that I desired *secretly (only God knew about it)*. It was also the only one they had in that colour, engine and model!!!! It's amazing how God enjoys surprising us and showering us with the desires of our hearts! Love your testimonies! That just happened to me too! I had time off for my winter break after having a REALLY stressful semester. I kept praying that when the time came to go back to school, that I would be ready. Yesterday came and I was stressed out because my flight got cancelled while I was at the airport. My first day of class was today, but it would be my only day of class this week. They rebooked my flight for Thursday (tomorrow) and gave me compensation, which was a generous amount. Although I was happy to get to spend another couple of days with my family and rest, I was worried about the consequences of missing class, even though I couldn't help it. This morning, I got an email saying that all classes for the day were cancelled because of snow, so I am not going to be missing anything! God is so good!
Perfect timing! My desire is for my future and to be a full-time artist and spoken word poet for God, but I have been more worried about that desire rather than giving it to God. I know He's going to make His will come to pass. Thank you!

1. What I truly desire is to move my family from our 1 room apartment to a 3/4 bedroom flat. So that my mom and sisters can have their own space that they deserve. 2. I’m praying that God gives me the job that I want to teach English overseas before the end of this year. 3. I pray that God gives me the strength to bring Him into the centre of my household. 4. I had the flu for almost two weeks. During that time, I had the fever for 6 days straight. I was very discouraged that my fever wasn't going away. I got very stressed out and started to have suicidal thoughts. But it was God's Grace, i asked him to take away my pain and my negative thoughts. An overwhelming peace started pouring into me. I felt at peace and trusted God will take away my pain. And he took away my negative thoughts and the flu went away. The flu lasted for a long time, but I knew it was a lesson God wanted me to experience. I love your stories it gives me hope and reassurance that God is good. :)

Yes! I can relate my friend! God blessed me with my Volkswagen beetle convertible in my Freshmen year of college. He gave me what I didn't know I wanted. Here's my story: Since I was a little girl I always wanted a VW beetle nice and pearly white so I could look like a pearl going down the street; my dream car! (I've always admired convertibles as well lol). So one day I'm in a parking lot waiting on my sister to leave her job when a lime green beetle drives in and parks right in front of me. For years every time I even seen a beetle I would proclaim that I'd get that car some day; speaking life! But on this particular day I was being totally candid with myself and I said "Ya know, only elderly people have that car really and It's so expensive because it's a german made car. If God wants me to have that car then I will have it in proper time. & If not, GOD IS STILL GOOD and gives me more than I deserve. I won't spend the money I don't have on that car. I will keep saving on my college refund of $1500 and be thankful. BUT if some one blesses me with a VW I will gladly take it!". I put my car dreams at Gods feet. On the next day my sister comes out of her job and says to me in conversation "My boss's client is trying to get rid of a car because she buys the newest model every two to three years and she really wants it off her hands. She's also celebrating recovering from a painful bout of MS." I sat back and said "WHAT! come again!?" My sister goes "Didn't you say you wanted that kind of car??" I said a resounding "YAAAAS. What is she selling it for?" She says "$3500 and she wants it gone ASAP. Her new one comes next week. If you really want it I could give you half the money and you can pay me back later. I don't mind helping you because you are always good for it". I couldn't pass that up. I felt like that was God saying "This is YOURS. This is THAT opportunity". The car was more than what I asked for; the VW is a cream colored beetle with a tan roof in good condition. He gave me what I didn't know I wanted! I fasted and prayed and bought the car three days later with my sisters help. The seller even came down on the price btw! When I say God is good and merciful believe it y'all! I'm driving my car today and I've had it for about 5 years now. I Thank God each and every time I sit in my car. It's only by God's favor that I have my VW. My car is by no means perfect and needs some TLC every now and again (but who in the world doesn't!). When I say that car is more than I could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21) I mean it. Tailored for me. Trust God and speak life. Give your desires to God and HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! Matt 7:10-11.
I am glad I ran across this. I had to search my heart and I realized that my relationship was my idol. I vowed to put God first and it caused strain in my relationship but I have never felt better. I am loving the relationship I’m developing with God. I pray that he gives me the heart to always choose Jesus over things or people of this world. Be blessed!

Exact same thing happened to me! I desired a mustang so bad but not just any mustang, I wanted a black one with a convertible top. I even saved it to my camera roll. But I gave it to God and said Lord one day I know I'll have it but lemme get my focus back on you. A few months later....OUT OF THE BLUE my father said lets go to the auction and Y'ALL out of nowhere this FINE black mustang convertible rolled up. EXACT ONE I SAVED IN MY CAMERA ROLL. People were bidding on it but then it seemed like God just stopped the bidders from bidding. I got a 2007 Ford mustang - a car that runs for 7,000 - 10,000 easily - for 3, 500 FLAT ! I didn't even have to pay for it because my dad insisted on doing it! (All praise to God) And normally there would be things wrong with auction cars, THIS CAR HAD A BRAND NEW ENGINE- NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! Y'ALL CANT TELL ME GOD WON'T GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART, COME ON NOW
I needed to hear this story, I am a hairstylist who lives in New Orleans, and for years I have had this strong desire to move to Georgia, I would always try and rid my mind of it because God was blessing me with clientel here, however I could never really shake the hearts desire to trust God to enlarge my coast. Well I just made the decision to surrender this desire to God, trust him and move. Although my clients here are devastated, I know there is greater in store. I realized that the moment I became transparent with God about why I wanted to move, he began to open doors that I can not wait to walk into. Crazy thing is I am truly about to take a faith step like never before, and because I have decided that I want what his will is for my life exceedenly, abundantly, above everything I can think, believe, or ask I am ready to see what this next chapter holds. Like you said as simple as a scooter just replace it with what we want. I needed to be reminded and encouraged to not give up, no settle but remember that God has done these things for me before. God is so good! This past thanksgiving I had Corvid, I have no family around. My husband found 1 restaurant open and picked me up a thanksgiving meal. I had prayed to God that my meal would be good, because I just wanted it so bad. But my experience with this restaurant wasn't very good. Low and behold I ate that meal and it actually tasted like my mom made it from my childhood! Then that night I wanted my leftovers, guess what, it was horrible! This just blew me away, I just wanted to share because I am amazed how God cares for us, even in the little things. Thank-you for sharing your experience, I really enjoyed hearing it. I’ve been without a real job for a year and I’ve been driving Uber/Lyft. Last week I had an interview for a job 7 minutes away from my house. The first position was given to someone else, but the HR lady asked me to come in to interview for another opening that was even better than the first one I interviewed for! I told God I was grateful for Him providing Lyft/Uber to make ends meet, but I asked if He was willing that He bless me with something I can receive medical insurance and a 401K with. He blessed me on that second interview and I got the job!

For 7 months I’ve been praying for god to restore my marriage. My husband left me and my daughter homeless while he moved in with another girl. I’ve been broken for 7 months and asking god why he hasn’t restored my marriage yet. Now I know that my marriage was an idol.. I depended too much on my husband/marriage and I did not depend on god. God gave me dreams and signs that he is going to restore and your video just gave me confirmation. I need to let go and let god!

As of lately, I'm learning to trust & depend on HIM... **Funny how people may've "thought" they WERE TRUSTING HIM to find out they REALLY WEREN'T (HE'S getting me together tho)** I lost just about EVERYTHING in 2012 & I was trying to get my place back only to find out I was deathly ill.... BUT GOD healed me!!! Got a job & car, but then found out I was sick again and it required surgery.... Got that done, then was provided a new job... but these past 6 years have been REALLY HARD.... I've been living with people & have moved on more than 6+ times... I'm STILL waiting for GOD to provide a place for me.. I THOUGHT he wanted me to move to Atlanta to pursue makeup, but when HIS plans DON'T match ours.... they don't happen... thus the reason I'm presently waiting on HIM: HIS WORD/MOVE/PLAN..and taking ME outta it... I KNOW ITS COMING NOW, WHATEVER HE has for me, cause I'm leaning & relying TOTALLY ON HIM... & NOT myself... GOD BLESS YOU!!!

This is so helpful! Right now I want to move, specifically into a house in my hometown that my brother has renovated to rent out. I have a million and one reasons why I SHOULD live there....BUT I don't want to be greedy! God has given me so much already that I don't want to be a spoiled child pouting over a stupid house when there are people in the world who don't even have a bed to sleep in at night. So I try so hard not to think about it....but I feel it sooo strongly in my spirit that I should be livibg there. I'm praying God gives me a clear direction soon....one where he either totally removes this desire from me or blesses me with what He feels I need.

I remember when God gave me a dream about moving houses even though we had just moved the year prior. We went for it and everything happened super quickly. Now the house we are in has THE BEST yard in the whole neighbourhood and I would say the best parking and all. Plus many many other things that we struggled with at our last house such as drive time and walking the dog ect. Thinking back on it refreshes my amazement with Him. Thank you. Also the street you turn on to go to my house had a Jesus statue on the corner. So glad you reminded me of that story. Oh, oh, oh!!! I saw your post earlier today as I started watching a music video sent via messenger from a sister in Christ, but I scrolled past it. I watched several videos throughout the morning, and yours came across again. Once again I kept scrolling past. But, this time I kinda felt compelled to go back, and watch it. I started it, got up, and went into the kitchen to start dinner. Watching as I was doing my prep work, at the part where you spoke about things becoming IDOLS I started getting chills, and tears began streaming down my cheeks. That was enlightening. I'm grateful that I watched.

I am a Christian that has been really bitter about things that have happened in my life. I know that by doing that I was just playing into what the enemy desired however I really was not able to see past the hurt. Even though it hurt to see your videos it reminded me of where I was before I became bitter in my walk with God and has encouraged me to get back on the path of forgiveness and faith. I watched this video, and thought I didn't need to ask God for anything because he is my shepherd and re always provides for me. But, I talked to God about it, and realized that I didn't ask for anything specifically because I was afraid I would not get it and be disappointed.....which is really not faithful. I also believed that I wasn't good enough to deserve it....which is not scriptural. So, thank you for opening my eyes. Blessings.

I've been dreaming of my ideal life recently, but realising now that it was not complete, just a more "comfortable" lifestyle than what I have now. So, after watching your videos Im learning through some of the bible texts that Obedience is better than sacrifice and God knows what I want and He will give me something better than i have dreamt of! So i'm waiting on God to give me the first step- a new grad job that I love and that I can live for Him in!

A few years ago, I had a desire to learn how to play the piano so I taught myself everyday on my 5 octave electric keyboard. I got really good at it and have an advanced skill level. But I really wanted to own a real piano because I love the rich sound it has that my keyboard doesn't even come close to. So I looked around online to see what they had in terms of prices and high quality keyboards with 7 octave keys. Needless to say I couldn't afford any of them at that time so I said to myself that someday I'll get a piano, don't know how or when but I'll get one. Maybe about a week later, my neighbor, who I barely knew, knocked on my door and asked if we were interested in having his piano that he was giving away for free. I was so shocked and eagerly said yes I'll take it. Even thought it was a little out of tune, I got a piano, my heart's desire, that I know God sent him to give that piano to me.

Thanks for that message! It's easy to turn our life goals into idols, even when we believe that those goals are from God. I've been guilty of that recently. I'm glad you reminded us that God is faithful to give us the desires of our hearts, we just have to be faithful to trust Him to do it!

1. What I truly desire is to move my family from our 1 room apartment to a 3/4 bedroom flat. So that my mom and sisters can have their own space that they deserve.

I had the flu for almost two weeks. During that time, I had the fever for 6 days straight. I was very discouraged that my fever wasn't going away. I got very stressed out and started to have suicidal thoughts. But it was God's Grace, i asked him to take away my pain and my negative thoughts. An overwhelming peace started pouring into me. I felt at peace and trusted God will take away my pain. And he took away my negative thoughts and the flu went away. The flu lasted for a long time, but I knew it was a lesson God wanted me to experience. I love your stories it gives me hope and reassurance that God is good. :)

Yes! I can relate my friend! God blessed me with my Volkswagen beetle convertible in my Freshmen year of college. He gave me what I didn't know I wanted. Here's my story: Since I was a little girl I always wanted a VW beetle nice and pearly white so I could look like a pearl going down the street; my dream car! (I've always admired convertibles as well lol). So one day I'm in a parking lot waiting on my sister to leave her job when a lime green beetle drives in and parks right in front of me. For years every time I even seen a beetle I would proclaim that I'd get that car some day; speaking life! But on this particular day I was being totally candid with myself and I said "Ya know, only elderly people have that car really and It's so expensive because it's a german made car. If God wants me to have that car then I will have it in proper time. & If not, GOD IS STILL GOOD and gives me more than I deserve. I won't spend the money I don't have on that car. I will keep saving on my college refund of $1500 and be thankful. BUT if some one blesses me with a VW I will gladly take it!". I put my car dreams at Gods feet. On the next day my sister comes out of her job and says to me in conversation "My boss's client is trying to get rid of a car because she buys the newest model every two to three years and she really wants it off her hands. She's also celebrating recovering from a painful bout of MS." I sat back and said "WHAT! come again!?" My sister goes "Didn't you say you wanted that kind of car??" I said a resounding "YAAAAS. What is she selling it for?" She says "$3500 and she wants it gone ASAP. Her new one comes next week. If you really want it I could give you half the money and you can pay me back later. I don't mind helping you because you are always good for it". I couldn't pass that up. I felt like that was God saying "This is YOURS. This is THAT opportunity". The car was more than what I asked for; the VW is a cream colored beetle with a tan roof in good condition. He gave me what I didn't know I wanted! I fasted and prayed and bought the car three days later with my sisters help. The seller even came down on the price btw! When I say God is good and merciful believe it y'all! I'm driving my car today and I've had it for about 5 years now. I Thank God each and every time I sit in my car. It's only by God's favor that I have my VW. My car is by no means perfect and needs some TLC every now and again (but who in the world doesn't!). When I say that car is more than I could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21) I mean it. Tailored for me. Trust God and speak life. Give your desires to God and HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! Matt 7:10-11.

I am glad I ran across this. I had to search my heart and I realized that my relationship was my idol. I vowed to put God first and it caused strain in my relationship but I have never felt better. I am loving the relationship I’m developing with God. I pray that he gives me the heart to always choose Jesus over things or people of this world. Be blessed!
i am currently praying so God removes a human idol from my life, for whom i was ignoring God and yes basically putting this man before him and disobeying God. Exact same thing happened to me! I desired a mustang so bad but not just any mustang, I wanted a black one with a convertible top. I even saved it to my camera roll. But I gave it to God and said Lord one day I know I'll have it but lemme get my focus back on you. A few months later....OUT OF THE BLUE my father said lets go to the auction and Y'ALL out of nowhere this FINE black mustang convertible rolled up. EXACT ONE I SAVED IN MY CAMERA ROLL. People were bidding on it but then it seemed like God just stopped the bidders from bidding. I got a 2007 Ford mustang - a car that runs for 7,000 - 10,000 easily - for 3, 500 FLAT ! I didn't even have to pay for it because my dad insisted on doing it! (All praise to God) And normally there would be things wrong with auction cars, THIS CAR HAD A BRAND NEW ENGINE- NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! Y'ALL CANT TELL ME GOD WON'T GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART, COME ON NOW
I needed to hear this story, I am a hairstylist who lives in New Orleans, and for years I have had this strong desire to move to Georgia, I would always try and rid my mind of it because God was blessing me with clientel here, however I could never really shake the hearts desire to trust God to enlarge my coast. Well I just made the decision to surrender this desire to God, trust him and move. Although my clients here are devastated, I know there is greater in store. I realized that the moment I became transparent with God about why I wanted to move, he began to open doors that I can not wait to walk into. Crazy thing is I am truly about to take a faith step like never before, and because I have decided that I want what his will is for my life exceedenly, abundantly, above everything I can think, believe, or ask I am ready to see what this next chapter holds. Like you said as simple as a scooter just replace it with what we want. I needed to be reminded and encouraged to not give up, no settle but remember that God has done these things for me before. I have to remember that he IS my good good father and i must trust him till the end. He will provide better then i expected!!! XO

I really just thank the Lord for you because the first video I watched was how God gave you your apartment and I said the exact same prayer you said on that video and THAT day the Lord blessed me with a new car paid in full and an apartment.. like your videos are such an inspiration and thank God for using you as a vessel
God is so good! This past thanksgiving I had Corvid, I have no family around. My husband found 1 restaurant open and picked me up a thanksgiving meal. I had prayed to God that my meal would be good, because I just wanted it so bad. But my experience with this restaurant wasn't very good. Low and behold I ate that meal and it actually tasted like my mom made it from my childhood! Then that night I wanted my leftovers, guess what, it was horrible! This just blew me away, I just wanted to share because I am amazed how God cares for us, even in the little things.

I’ve been without a real job for a year and I’ve been driving Uber/Lyft. Last week I had an interview for a job 7 minutes away from my house. The first position was given to someone else, but the HR lady asked me to come in to interview for another opening that was even better than the first one I interviewed for! I told God I was grateful for Him providing Lyft/Uber to make ends meet, but I asked if He was willing that He bless me with something I can receive medical insurance and a 401K with. He blessed me on that second interview and I got the job!

For 7 months I’ve been praying for god to restore my marriage. My husband left me and my daughter homeless while he moved in with another girl. I’ve been broken for 7 months and asking god why he hasn’t restored my marriage yet. Now I know that my marriage was an idol.. I depended too much on my husband/marriage and I did not depend on god. God gave me dreams and signs that he is going to restore and your video just gave me confirmation. I need to let go and let god!

#THIS #EVERYTHING.. I have walked away from SO many things only for THE ALMIGHTY FATHER to give me better... As of lately, I'm learning to trust & depend on HIM... **Funny how people may've "thought" they WERE TRUSTING HIM to find out they REALLY WEREN'T (HE'S getting me together tho)** I lost just about EVERYTHING in 2012 & I was trying to get my place back only to find out I was deathly ill.... BUT GOD healed me!!! Got a job & car, but then found out I was sick again and it required surgery.... Got that done, then was provided a new job... but these past 6 years have been REALLY HARD.... I've been living with people & have moved on more than 6+ times... I'm STILL waiting for GOD to provide a place for me.. I THOUGHT he wanted me to move to Atlanta to pursue makeup, but when HIS plans DON'T match ours.... they don't happen... thus the reason I'm presently waiting on HIM: HIS WORD/MOVE/PLAN..and taking ME outta it... I KNOW ITS COMING NOW, WHATEVER HE has for me, cause I'm leaning & relying TOTALLY ON HIM... & NOT myself... GOD BLESS YOU!!!

This is so helpful! Right now I want to move, specifically into a house in my hometown that my brother has renovated to rent out. I have a million and one reasons why I SHOULD live there....BUT I don't want to be greedy! God has given me so much already that I don't want to be a spoiled child pouting over a stupid house when there are people in the world who don't even have a bed to sleep in at night. So I try so hard not to think about it....but I feel it sooo strongly in my spirit that I should be livibg there. I'm praying God gives me a clear direction soon....one where he either totally removes this desire from me or blesses me with what He feels I need.

I remember when God gave me a dream about moving houses even though we had just moved the year prior. We went for it and everything happened super quickly. Now the house we are in has THE BEST yard in the whole neighbourhood and I would say the best parking and all. Plus many many other things that we struggled with at our last house such as drive time and walking the dog ect. Thinking back on it refreshes my amazement with Him. Thank you. Also the street you turn on to go to my house had a Jesus statue on the corner.

Oh, oh, oh!!! I saw your post earlier today as I started watching a music video sent via messenger from a sister in Christ, but I scrolled past it. I watched several videos throughout the morning, and yours came across again. Once again I kept scrolling past. But, this time I kinda felt compelled to go back, and watch it. I started it, got up, and went into the kitchen to start dinner. Watching as I was doing my prep work, at the part where you spoke about things becoming IDOLS I started getting chills, and tears began streaming down my cheeks. That was enlightening. I'm grateful that I watched.

I am a Christian that has been really bitter about things that have happened in my life. I know that by doing that I was just playing into what the enemy desired however I really was not able to see past the hurt. Even though it hurt to see your videos it reminded me of where I was before I became bitter in my walk with God and has encouraged me to get back on the path of forgiveness and faith. I watched this video, and thought I didn't need to ask God for anything because he is my shepherd and re always provides for me. But, I talked to God about it, and realized that I didn't ask for anything specifically because I was afraid I would not get it and be disappointed.....which is really not faithful. I also believed that I wasn't good enough to deserve it....which is not scriptural. So, thank you for opening my eyes. Blessings.

I've been dreaming of my ideal life recently, but realising now that it was not complete, just a more "comfortable" lifestyle than what I have now. So, after watching your videos Im learning through some of the bible texts that Obedience is better than sacrifice and God knows what I want and He will give me something better than i have dreamt of! So i'm waiting on God to give me the first step- a new grad job that I love and that I can live for Him in!

A few years ago, I had a desire to learn how to play the piano so I taught myself everyday on my 5 octave electric keyboard. I got really good at it and have an advanced skill level. But I really wanted to own a real piano because I love the rich sound it has that my keyboard doesn't even come close to. So I looked around online to see what they had in terms of prices and high quality keyboards with 7 octave keys. Needless to say I couldn't afford any of them at that time so I said to myself that someday I'll get a piano, don't know how or when but I'll get one. Maybe about a week later, my neighbor, who I barely knew, knocked on my door and asked if we were interested in having his piano that he was giving away for free. I was so shocked and eagerly said yes I'll take it. Even thought it was a little out of tune, I got a piano, my heart's desire, that I know God sent him to give that piano to me.
