This is by far the best tutorial I have seen for begginers :) especially when you make sure to let us know to pay attention to the stitches that might be "hiding" under others because I've been crocheting for a while now and have missed so many stitches in my works hahah, this is really really helpful

I struggled with the heart as well. I use a magic ring, which helped me. You could possibly try doing a magic ring as well, and see how that goes? Hope this helped!

So excited to make this pattern! I’m not sure why when I try to pull the string to tighten the center of the heart mine doesn’t move. I’m thinking it’s the way I make my slip knot? Has anyone else had this happen?
I don’t think this video really worked because my heart is like slanted and not in the middle and idk if it’s just me cus I’ve made this multiple times and it always ends up not in the middle😊

I don’t thinks so because when I made mine the bottom side was about the size of my pinkie and the longer side slightly longer then my middle finger U can make 4 granny squares instead and connect them. Or watch another tutorial
if you attach the yarn by putting your crochet hook in the stitch where you fastened off and then slipping your slipknot (of the same yarn like white in this video or whatever you are using) onto your crochet hook then pulling it through that stitch. I fasten it by chaining one and mine turned out pretty good! hopefully this helps sorry if i worded it confusingly
