    Hey Shuzi -
    # 1- no shade.
    # 2 - I love your name.
    # 3 - Chuck Lee sent me over to you...
    # 4 - which means: new subscriber.
    # 5 - As you are unsure of your chosen medium, allow me to suggest.
I am a life long acrylic paint user.
    Guess why.
Because, my brother & established artist, Bob, (shout out to you, Bob) recommended acrylic paint for my go to color-a-tion paint supply.
    Guess why.
Because it had the opacity of oil paint.
    And, guess the other why.
Because I can also use acrylic paint as watercolor.
True, game changer for the rest of my life.
BTW, when acrylic paint is used as a wc on cloth, that meticulously painted piece of art is washable.
(Air dry, as you can imagine.)
    W/o any damage.
For me, this opened new horizons that I never even knew existed.
    # 6 - I just know that you always make the best decisions.
    # 7 - Go get 'em, girl!
    I believe in you.
    # 8 - Best day now.

Hey Connie, thank you for the sweet message and for subbing! 🥰
Using acrylic as watercolor is a brilliant suggestion, especially the idea of using it on clothes. I'm so tempted to try! I'm also thinking to combine acrylic and watercolor to do some mixed media style. I better start practicing :D

Well, especially as a ns, just do it, girly-girl! Get busy!
BTW, I know for a fact that painting on silk is fantastic.
I look forward to the videos.
And, by all means, experiment to your heart's content.

Good video. I think it's more accurate to say the shadow between her boobs and in the armpit are occlusion shadows rather than cast shadows. Also, aren't all the shadow mixes really just orange + purple? Because if you have to add red to the blue, that will turn it purple.
I wouldn't have thought of using purple for shadows myself though. I'll try it!

Thank you! try it and hope it works out for you :D
Good point the shadow between her boobs is occlusion shadow (it seems sometimes it's considered the darkest part of cast shadow, and sometime it's by itself), but either way it should be even darker than cast shadow. I would argue the shadow in her armpit to be occlusion though, cause it's not as deep as her cleavage :P But regardless what they're called, as long as the relationship between the values of shadows are done correctly, it'll look good.
And yes, orange + purple is the key message ;)
