16. Building a False Ceiling with Wood Beams & Boards - Drop-Down Ceiling

The wood beam ceilings are characteristic of the construction techniques in Valle de Bravo, but we're using steel beams and corrugated galvanized steel sheets, covered with concrete, between the floors. The top floor, where the two bedrooms will be are designed with wood beam ceilings so we decided to use wood beams in the main floor bedroom as well by building a "false" ceiling before the steel beams go in over the top of that room.
