To think, when people first saw this they had no idea what they were in for in terms of cinematic spectacle.
They had idea that this was the start of one of the best movie franchises.
Can't wait for this movie to come out.
They spared no expense
Don't, you might be disappointed, wait until it's in its third or fourth week, anyway, I can't see it doing much, there's a Ton cruise film called the firm coming out which will make a billion dollars
Back when a teaser was a teaser, specifically filmed for the clip AND NOT giving away 90% of the plot, like modern trailers...!
I never knew this teaser existed! So cool!
Love the old teasers that literally featured zero scenes from the movie.
My favorite teaser is still the one for The Fellowship Of The Ring, it was just the ring, no other footage.
Remember seeing this teaser in the cinemas in around late 1992. Instantly went out and bought the book in anticipation. Very cool upload!

I like how it says "Live Action Dinosaurs" for the animatronics. Like they tracked down and hired the only surviving T-Rex who had been living in Texas for the past 65 million years living off social security.
Hey, when you're a T-Rex you take what work you can get.
That movie that define CGI forever after T2 because of good CGI storytelling
Saw this early in 1993 -- great example of the least revealing is the best trailer. And the flick lived up to it.
Yeah, I recall seeing that teaser in the theater at the time and the moment they mentioned prehistoric mosquitoes in amber I blurted out, _"Jurassic Park!"_
BECAUSE I HAD READ THE BOOK!
I had read the book about a year before and got excited over the mosquito thing, too.

Thanks. But without the help of movie fans, who pay insane amounts of money to get trailers like this one, it wouldn't be possible.

I remember seeing the poster and knowing instantly I was going see the dinosaur movie
It was a life changing cinema experience
I traveled home in the car staring out the window imagining dinosaurs flocking over the Scottish hills.😄
The first discovery was made in the spring of 1990. From a mine in South America came a piece of amber, containing the fossilized remains of a prehistoric mosquito. One of many that had fed upon the blood of dinosaurs. From the DNA in that blood, science was able to recreate those giants. And for the first time, man and dinosaur shared the Earth.
It happened at a place called: Jurassic Park. This summer, director Steven Spielberg will take you there.

I've read rumors that there is a new 4K DCP of Jurassic Park that was made in 2022 and was shown in some theaters last year. Does anyone know more about it?

I hope at some point Jurassic Park will be officially released in its original color grading. The 3D Blu-ray came close in places, but wasn't perfect either.
I was 13,bright eyed and bushy tailed boy lol,I went opening night..It was Awesome! Saw it 4 times that summer.

It‘s actually from a German print. The english audio was taken from a DVD version of the teaser trailer.

This looks awesome, but why did you crop the aspect ratio to 2.00:1? The original should have a taller aspect ratio.
John Mukherjee Original Aspect Ratio is 1.85:1. I didn‘t want to crop the side of the 2nd half. Hence the wider video 😉

John Mukherjee different source. There is nothing cropped on the microscope scene. So I had to make the call on how this version will look. But you watch the other low res version instead of this 2K release 😉
Love them all except the third because of its short running time.
