- This week, we went on an adventure to one of our favorite places! We had postponed this trip several times, and as the cold weather settled into our area, the right the time finally arrived! This is a long one, so grab a snack and come watch a week in the life of our winter getaway.

We missed you there by a week or so. Was so fun! We came back with a flu souvenir 😫 though. Looks like y'all had a great time. It's very reasonable that every day wouldn't be tops. We all have our moments and times that are less fun, but overall it looks like it was a great getaway. How many miles did you log? We had 54 in 6 days!
54! Wow! I don’t track my miles very well. Sometimes the steps don’t register when we are pushing the chair.
Loved watching your fun trip! Also LOVE it when Jess laughs! Its the sweetest thing ever! Would enjoy seeing more conversation with bad daddy too! So happy for all of you!

Listen: I'm only two minutes in, and I just had to comment on Jessica's packed suitcase! I watch SO many suitcase-packing videos on TH-cam; I'm just fascinated how other folks fit so much stuff into them. I'm a terrible packer (no, really), so seeing such organization and so much STUFF inside one suitcase is my jam! I need to actually LEARN now from all the videos I watch. 🤣😂 👜 Okay, let me go continue with this video! 🙂

Oh my gracious Val I’m exhausted just watching you guys and all that walking!!! Idk how you do it!! Bad daddy flexing he needs those muscles to keep up with y’all😂🤦🏻♀️!! I would love to be able to enjoy Disney again but I haven’t been since the 80s so it’s a whole new world there since then!! I can dream at least and i appreciate you sharing the Disney trips especially. I can’t help but wonder how Jess feels on those rides because it’s obvious she loves them!! Her smile tells the tale!! She’s so brave because I think I would be terrified of the unknown if I couldn’t see what was happening. Thanks for sharing and I hope u get some much needed rest!!❤️

We went in October and for the first time we did early morning entry AND we got so much done!!! No lines, no waiting!

You certainly had a busy week. When you mentioned in the beginning. you were taking a trip I knew you were going to Disney. I live West of St Petersburg FL a d have not been to any of the Disney Parks in a very long time even way before COVID. I have never been to Animal Kingdom. That water rapids ride as well as the safari ride there look fun from your past vlogs. I remember seeing when your friend from South America came to visit you.
I like Epcot with the World Showcase. Did you know that the employees who work in the various country pavilions are from those countries and have to go through a lot of interviews and pass some tests to work there.
Animal Kingdom feels more laid back and relaxed to me. Unfortunately, the water ride was closed for winter cleaning, but it would have been too cold to ride anyway.
I did know that about the people that work at the country pavilions. It’s interesting to interact with them.
Wow Jess! That is awesome. You are totally fearless. This is so awesome. I love how you write those rides you do so good I wish I was good at that. I get nervous on some rides but I’ve never been to Disney before I would like to go sometime, but we’ve never really had the money to go, but would love to I am also totally blind, but would love to ride those rides expedition ever sounds like it’s fun you know there’s another ride that Epcot has I want to try it’s called I think it’s called mission to Mars mission space I’m sorry mission space that sounds like fun! I’m really enjoying watching this. I feel like I’m right there with you guys. Hope you don’t mind a TH-cam tagalong. Laughing out loud. I heard that expedition. Everest has really good airtime. Is this true? It makes me feel good to know that there’s someone like me out there that is not afraid to just go for it. Hope someday I can be like you do you guys have any good tips to get over fear I’m going on rides because my biggest fear I think is going upside down and falling out of the ride. I mean going upside down so much but the biggest fear I have is falling out of the ride because back about 10 years ago that almost happened at the fair I went to in downtown down here and it was scary, but I still did it though but it was really scary
Jess loves adventures, but also is not a fan of rides that go upside down.
@@AutisticInterpretations wow! Val again she and I have something in common. We both do not do upside down rides and we both are not big veggie eaters either. Are we also both don’t like being off our schedule either and we both have an agenda. Wow! It’s funny we’ve never met, but we both have loads in common. That’s so so cool. it makes me happy when she talks about expedition Everest her joy she has is just amazing and also contagious. Mom said she was smiling so Big dropped that whole ride. She said watch her smiling and laughing. She sounds so happy. I said yeah like you her mom tries to make her life happy and joyful. Mom said well you got to you gotta keep going as strong as you can. I bet you and my mom would get along really well you could talk about stuff, and I’m sure that my daddy and jesses daddy would have a great time talking to probably talking about all kinds of stuff huh? Anyway, I hope you have a great day and just know that we’re here rooting you on always

(Also, I went to Disney one time only almost 19 years ago, and what I recall most was the amount of walking and how HUNGRY that made me - more than normal - and, hence, how snappy and exhausted it made me at times. All that exercise, outta nowhere! 😅 My body rebelled periodically. 🧡)

I think it is all of the above. I would also add the excitement and fun of just being at Disney and able to experience the rides.

I'm glad that you folks enjoy that kind of "fun"; however, I would feel TORTURED to go on those 'RIDES' and to be in those CROWDS of People : ( NOT my version of Fun! I enjoy being out in Nature; visiting a Wild Life Park or Aquarium; a Museum; an Art gallery; going to a Play. THAT LOOKED LIKE 'Over Stimulation' = Sensory OVERLOAD!! : ( But obviously, Jessica enjoys this type of activity; and it looks like Mom gets off on it too. # NOT a DISNEY Fan
