They have him running so many fucking drag routes, and he just takes them for firsts because everyone is trying to cover Julio over top. Don't get me wrong, it works, but Ridley's best plays are coming when he takes the top off the defense, and he does so looking explosive. Open up the playbook a little more.
@@praveenpatibandla1485 Julio is a beast in a class all by himself and Sanu is arguably the best all around player on the team (physicality of a defender the way he blocks, can throw the ball accurately 60 yards with a flick of the wrist, can even punt, I believe) but Calvin Ridley brings to the table in his unique skill set an uncanny ability to shake defenders with such fluidity and economy of movement that sometimes I wonder how on earth he got the defender to bite so hard, and to add to that, the guy can operate with so little space, like he almost doesn't need to get separation to have total separation. Now, all that may not make him "the best" Falcons WR, but it sure does make him-- for me-- the most entertaining. Look out now that's he's had a year in the league!
