I think the thing with the old wolves having less pups may be a game feature they didn’t speak of but involves realistic ‘fertility’ chances where the older a wolf gets, the less fertile they are since ya’ know, they become frailer and less youthful than they used to be.
I have actually noticed that when I play. For one of my wolves that I’ve played since age 2, I used to have 5-6 pups at a time. Now at the age of 7 I only had 3
I noticed that too. Robin, one of my senior wolves, always had 5-6 pups in each litter until she reached age 7. She's age 7 now, and she has 3 pups instead of 5 this time. I think I've seen that happening a lot though with my wolves tbh.

Interact with your mate only. -When traveling, do not look at how much hunger your pups have left. -Hunt the prey with highest health. -NEVER go out and mark your territory, let it go down to atleast 5% before going to mark it. -DO NOT Fight off predators at the den, leave it for your mate (Do not pick a lazy one, you need a bold or energetic one for this lol) -Eat your pups food if your under 75% hunger. -Never pick up pups at all. -If a pup is lost they must either die or you find them on accident. If you find them on accident woof them To wherever you live. -Sleep if your under 60% awakeness, even if your far away from den you MUST sleep. -If predators come too close to your pups you can bite or snarl. Once they are farther away leave them alone.
This sounds great, but you can't kill boar bears, from what I remember. You can kill cubs I think, but not boar bears. I'm not sure about Sow bears though. I think it sounds like a lot of rules, but that's for me, it should be no problem for Kay. I'm curious how Kay will handle this challenge honestly, hopefully we can make Kay see this one :)
Challenge:aggressive/Mad wolf •you have to growl at ur mate whenever they do emotes at you •you have to go after healthy elk and target the leg and the throat (ofc you can bite the shoulder and stuff) •whenever a predator attacks u must chase and kill it •you have to ignore ur pups and leave ur mate alone whilst she mark’s territory and emotes to the pups that’s it I hope u see this!

I think it's safe to say that you had a much better run than I did 😂❤️ Also, I had a lot of difficulty leaving the sick pups to... Oof, XD(I kinda feel like a terrible person now lol)
I think you should do the ultra iron wolf challenge. You have to be on iron wolf mode You have to be a black coat You have to be on accurate difficulty setting at all times Your stats all have to be -2 It’s a really fun challenge I think you should try it.

Energetic and loners usually tend to go out on their own more likely to go find food or mark territory. Social wolves still go out but they'll ask you to come with them by whining while loners just leave without asking you to come with them. Energetic personality really matters though because it determines how much of an effort your mate does to help raise pups. Energetic mates are more likely to regurgitate / feed the pups food, more willing to find lost pups, carry pups while traveling, willing to mark territory, etc. Lazy mates don't like to help out as much as energetic mates. Energetic dispersals can be pinpointed in courtship by how often they run around. If they lay down a lot, that's a sign it is lazy and I don't bother taking them. And I usually pick social, bold, and energetic mates. Social mates don't necessarily provide that many benefits, other than social pups. Social pups are more likely to howl back when they're lost which can help you pinpoint their location on the compass. Energetic mates do all the marking, bringing back food, carrying pups, etc. And bold mates like to participate more in hunting; as well as help defending the pups a lot more often. There were a few times recently I had one of my mates leave to go mark but then ran all the way back to the den because they wanted to help me attack a predator; and after they helped me defend the pups, they went back to marking territory.
