Portulacas are my favorite garden flower. Here in the Southwest, it’s hard to find a flower that is high elevation friendly, loves direct sunlight, durable and is still gorgeous. Your fence is beautiful! What a great idea! 😊

Fertilizer needs to each the roots of a plant. Spraying the blossoms will not help at all, esp. as there are only these tiny holes where the flowers leave the soil.
