Went to fairgrounds tonight for drive thru light show and got a chick fil a peppermint chip shake. Dropped off Christmas presents to my aunts and loved on cat i found and my aunt adopted. Her name is Sweet Pea. Love Star Wars. Remember seeing Return of the Jedi in the theater and felt special bc my parents bought me Jabba the Hut shaped bottle of bubble bath. Another series my brother and i like to watch at xmad is Jurassic Park. It was the first movie i ever took him too, and its still his favorite movie. Love your home movies. My brother and i are 10 years apart, but we're really close. There isn't anything i wouldn't do for him or my family.
Love your vlogmas videos! Idea for your mom...have you seen where you can customize a puzzle. Maybe a family photo into a puzzle or one with her and her sheep.

The order you described for watching the Star Wars movies is called "release order," i.e. by when they first came out in theaters. People also recommend watching them in chronological order, i.e. starting with the prequels, then the original trilogy, then the sequels. Either way, a fun way to relax over winter break. I had to laugh a bit when you were trying to figure out the camcorder. I had to puzzle thru figuring it out about each time myself back when that tech was the thing to have! 😆 Loved seeing you and Jack as littles - so cute, and you both had that white blond hair too! My brother was the same, and now in his 50's he has, um, no hair left to worry about, hehe...

Make sure you save all your journals. I wrote poetry and included it in mine and they were all lost in the transition to adulthood and home ownership. I wish I still had them.
Oh Jess…that camera is positively modern compared to the one we filmed our boys with when they were very little (our oldest is now 33). I used to say my husband was a CBC Cameraman - the camera he used took a FULL VCR TAPE …it was 4 times the size of yours 🤣🤣, but the tapes we have are priceless. Glad you had such a nice, relaxing day at the Cabin, and that you are feeling so much better. 👍🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄🎄🐑🐶📚☕️

Adieu is a French word. Lots of little kids have trouble with speech. It usually manifests in cute little mispronunciations: "spaghetti" comes out as "pisketti", "hamburger" as "hanguburr" and "cinnamon" as "cimmanun". A girlfriend of mine from many years ago told me that when she was a toddler she couldn't say "Merry Christmas" -- it came out as "Manny Krinsmans". So, Manny Krinsmans to you and your family!
My oldest had trouble saying 'J' sounds. Jack and Jill was Dack and Dill. Jessie was Dessie. It took a couple of years for him to get it down. Then he became very chatty. His little brother didn't really get a chance to talk til his big brother started school.

Should be fun, Jess. That is called a video camera. A tape recorder only recorded audio. I used to have a tape recording of my voice talking to my grandpa when I was only 2. Sadly, they disintegrate after 62 years. 😢

We use to have a camera like that until our house got broken into. And the stole our camera. We lost all our recordings of my children and family.
