I just read the whole story of Darth Vitiate :O Im amased how cruel this man is, killing everyone so that there are no threat left in the galaxy to kill him. The only thing he fears is death and he would do anything to not die, still he have killed millions of people and are planning to kill all life in the whole galaxy... wow

After finishing my jedi knight story I was pretty bummed that all I got was the jedi master rank that's it we don't even get to replace orgus on the jedi council while consular's character gets to be on the council.
It's an MMO. After the screen goes black at the end you reappear outside the doors with the final quest complete, and are now free to do whatever you'd like in the Galaxy.
If you think about, they will continue adding content - there is a lot more to be said in upcoming events: The Emperor has been put into a deep slumber, the Dreadmasters break off from the Empire because of the misgivings and failures. The Republic struggles with an ailing refugee population and a economy unable to support galactic proportions. Both sides are in jeopardy but more so for the Empire's internal turmoil.
when the developers talked about the game early on the said that u wouldn't be like the typicall hero, you would be one amongst many but wathing this i dont feel like they live up to that
yup this is emeror new voice since his precious voice which was that voss guy was killed by wrath (warrior) , so he use probably that guy as his new vessel for voice (probably this happened somewhere after when you finish belsavis with your warrior) and when you kill your main enmy you even get mail that emeror new voice killed by some jedi knight story is linked.
The Idea is the Jedi Knight is a prodigy just like Revan, if you play more of the story you are referred to as one of the most powerfull Jedi ever. So you do play as your own Jedi Legend that also why your able to free Revan because your power can match his or even tops Revans depending how you look upon it.

He was part of a flashpoint. The FPs are cannon for each class, and it would seem awkward if he showed up in each classes ending. To be honest, I'm glad he was only used in the FPs.If anything got fucked over, it was the fact that Malgus, while the games face, only appeared a few times before the Battle of Illum FP.
He is capable of doing so, there's an incredibly long cast that you HAVE to interrupt to stop your death. If that doesn't help, I recommend bringing a friend/guildie. =)

After you finish the main questline for your character, the elder game content begins. The game's cap is now 60 and the story is extended through the new content from updates and expansions. Essentially the progression doesn't need to cease, you go on getting better equipment, expanding stronghold's possibly, go after world bosses, new flashpoints, new raides, PVP Warzones and Starfighter. MMOs usually appeal to people who can stand a bit of a grind, given that the content they are going through is fun and rewarding. If that's not exactly your thing, just going through the main story for a character and ending it there is probably your route. The limitations of SWTOR's Free to Play model are not that apparent until you're in the elder game anyway.

The Old Republic is WAAY before the Star Wars saga. This is during the Old Republic era, a turbulent time period for the Jedi and the Republic when the Sith Empire sought to annihilate the Republic and the Jedi, way before the Rule of Two existed.

Even if Vitiate's original body had died, he likely have already placed some of his plans of cheating death into effect before plotting against the Republic. He would likely return to the shadows to plot revenge while they assumed his death to have been the end of his plans. Defeating him physically in that encounter wouldn't achieve anything because they didn't understand enough about his plans, nor would they be able to learn before it was too late. Scourge's betrayal of Revan bought them the time he needed to learn the full extent of Emperor's plans so that the galaxy would have a better chance at foiling them.
Vader was the most powerful force user in the history of Star Wars due to his "high midi-chlorian count". However, Revan had a mastery of literally everything (saber techniques, force powers, etc.) so Revan defeats Vader quite easily.
think of it like this this is a completly new and much stronger enemy. Knights of the Old Republic was Revan and Meetra's story. The Old Republic is not their story. It belongs to the Jedi Knight, Consular, Trooper, Smuggler, Sith Warrior, Inquistor, Agent and Bounty Hunter. While Revan and Meetra were no match for this new enemy, the new generation just might pull it off

Revan's death/survival is ambiguous for now. But there is more to suggest his death than survival. Most notably his Malgus quote.

Emperor cannot be defeated. You can destroy his body, but his spirit will live forever.
