Just watched The Union. Predictable, sure, but boy what a hoot. It was so fun, and her and Mark Wahlberg have fantastic chemistry. Also it’s the first time I’ve ever seen “oh we’re the secret organization that helps out the FBI, CI, etc because we’re like a battering ram,” rather than the, oh we’re elite and sleek and serious and cool and super spies. It was like, the rough around the edges, other side of the tracks who takes the messes no one else wants to take, and that was actually kinda refreshing and made them so much more real and relatable.
Just saw it and agree completely, what a fun ride! I don't like a lot of violence in movies though gunplay without gore I can handle, but I love car chases and this revved my engine for sure.
