It's called 'chromatic aberration' which is when a lens is unable to focus every wavelength of light to a specific point (or there's also a similar form of aberration called 'fringing'). It's a result of either a poor quality lens or in this case it may be because the lens was not perfectly centered over the camera. This effect can be reproduced fairly easily with Photoshop, some free photo editors, or probably any of these mobile-attachable lenses.
As a little kid the liberty science center was so fun to go and explore everything. Also it’s amazing that I was, years ago, standing in the exact spot Casey was standing. 😃

The Facebook ad is a Nikon P900 video. You should totally do a review or experiment or just play with a P900 because they’re a lot of fun. I have one and in my opinion it’s by far the best camera out today *for $600 or less* It’s got 83x optical zoom, 1000mm equivalent lense, 16mp, super effective VR, you can shoot using the screen which rotates in any direction and it does pretty well in almost any situation if you set it up right. I’ve used it for everything from macros of my iris to taking handheld photos of the blue angels flying in formation more than two miles away going however fast they were going and they all come out pretty well. Hell, some people have even taken a picture of Saturn with it, I personally have taken a few photos of solar flares from the street. It’s a lot of fun to post up on a outdoor table and see what’s the farthest thing you can take a photo of, and the best part is you don’t have to even pick up the camera since the screen swivels everywhere. It’s not a professional grade Camera, in fact it’s a coolpix which is nikons point and shoot amateur line but it should probably be classified as some sort of affordable wildlife photography camera because it’s really impressive for the money and the only time you’re gonna see competition is with a camera and lense combo 5-10x the price.
