Very valid question! My jewelry is genuine gold or silver plated, meaning they shouldn’t turn color if they’re taken care of properly. I also make sure that the quality is higher than these mass produced companies. I also am selling handmade jewelry as a small business, and cannot compete with prices that mass produced, machine-operated corporations can offer. A lot of large companies will exploit their workers under terrible conditions or be unconscious about the environment. therefore, shopping small is a lot like shopping local and being conscious about choosing better practices!
Additionally, my jewelry is of the same or similar quality as those Instagram shops people may see with jewelry that’s in the $50-100 range, so I feel like my prices are extremely low and competitive compared to them already! 💖 hope that helps a bit :)
Kate Li I didn’t know they were gold/silver plated and yes i agree with you i bought couple of stuff from online and they turned green couple days after. Since you are selling high quality jewelry then you are definitely cheaper compared to instagram boutiques. Thanks for explaining :)
