I love Mungyo Watercolors. I have the 48 set and the 24.

They are nice watercolors, and yes, Mungyo is indeed the same as Jaxon. Honsell uses the names Jaxon and Jaxell to market a variety of Mungyo products in Europe, including their watercolors, their regular oil pastels, their watercolor crayons, and different versions of chalk pastels.

Hey! That is another new one because Mungyo also makes watercolours for other brands. Please, have a look to a video called "Some of these paints are just like the other... (Watercolor set clones!)" from thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich (I can't link her video here because youtube would banned it) and uou will find out how many brands makes rebranding for other paints. Have a nice day!

same happens with alcohol markers, the ink is the same but the markers are branded differently

Hi! I just paused the video about quarter of the way thru-so I dont know if you address this later in the video or not but just in case...So PY14 is definitely not lightfast, PR48 is also Fugitive, PR112 has fair lightfast...Whereas PR122 has very good to excellent lightfast and PY3 has good lightfastness...Its true that PY3 doesnt have perfect lightfastness but I find that most professional grade paints using PY3 has good enough lightfastness to use in most pieces as long as I avoid really diluted washes (since most paints with less than excellent or very good lightfastness fade most in diluted watery washes). Anyway Im so sorry if you learn this info later in the video and address all this- in addition to that Im sorry about the unsolicited advice...lol. anyway as far as I know these are student grade paints and also the same paint as Prima Marketing and Jane Davenport. I hope this info helps. Again sorry about the unsolicited information. So far Im really enjoying this video- so much fun! Now I can finish watching the rest of the video, I only paused a quarter of the way thru because i wanted to make sure to leave my comment before I forgot what i wanted to say...lol. Thanks so much for sharing and much love 💙

Thank you for your comment :D, I think I am gonna pin it up at front if that is possible XD or write your info in the video description (of course with quotatin ;) ) because I do can not remember all those numbers so I always have to check the list for the lightfast information XD 😅😅🙈🙈🙈 and I did not do that during the filming....

Oh yeah, I've seen a set of Honsell soft oil pastels that appears to be Mungyo.
Prima Marketing watercolour is also made by Mungyo.
What is this called? Private labeling or white labeling, pretty confusing.
    Sorry you got a duplicate.

Are the Jaxon oilpastels and the mungio the same?
    Would be nice to know...!?!?

Well there are different kinds of Mungyo oil pastels. I would say that the Jaxon oil pastels are like Mungyo oil pastels (bright blue box) BUT not like Mungyo Gallery SOFT oil pastels (dark blue box).
I would not recommend either Jaxon or Mungyo oil pastels -
Much better are Paul Rubens and Mungyo Gallery Soft oil pastels

Jaxon are the same as the Mungyo oil pastels in the blue box, the basic ones, not the artist soft ones.

I think these and prima paints are the same they go into holes too but they are gorgeous paints. It seems that there's a lot of paints out there being made and then companies are putting their names on them, it's not on!! ! it's worrying as you don't know what dupes your getting the prima marketing andfthese are DEFINATELY the same and Jane Davenports too. I think we all ought to complain
