The defenders didn’t track any of the runners. Also the width of the attacking leaves them wide open should they lose the ball at any time.

In a video, that someone designs the movements, you can show some possible phases of the game, and you can move some players, and not all of them, in order to give emphasis on the basic points. About the width, is necessary in modern football, and of course in transitions, every formation has specific problems.
