It’s now October 2022 and I’m watching your videos again. I’ve watched several and don’t get tried of them. I’ve watched some with your family. Blessings to you all🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
These days my laundry room is my Happy Place.I binge watch these videos while doing my laundry. It's a win win. I love them all. Thanks for sharing and be safe ❤️🎄❄️
Tip on painting 1/2 beads - place them on painters tape spaced apart so they don’t move while brushing on paint. U can also reuse painters if not too messy😉
I rarely comment but felt compelled to do so while watching this video. Your voice and the pleasant background music are very soothing to listen to. The crafts your made are both unique and lovely. Thank you ever so much for sharing!
She really does have a soothing voice. She's got the kind of soft sweet voice that you would want her to be the emt in the ambulance with u if u got in a wreck (or whatever). Kind of morbid,I'm sorry, but that's the best way I can explain it,lol
I love the care and detail you put into your creations. I just finished watching this video and I’m even more delighted with it than I expected!! I enjoy watching videos and being exposed to new ideas, however the quick and easy creations that aren’t created with care are disappointing for me. I’m 61 years old and grew up with the standard of doing the best I can with whatever I do. Watching the patient care you give to each project you do is very satisfying! I would enjoy having the inspiration piece and completed pieces shown side by side. I think my favorite was the telephone. 🙂 Thank you for being on TH-cam.
I just saw a fellow crafter put her stain and the wood half rounds into a ziplock bag and mintulate it till the beads were covered. Then she dumped them out onto a piece of wax paper and turned them round side up to dry. I think this trick is fabulous !
Yami, you just kill me with your creativity! You are a genius when it comes to recreating, or creating your own décor. This is funny... As I was watching your video, my husband asked me if a wanted a glass jar that had been sitting around for awhile, as he wanted to throw it in the recycling if I didn't. I told him, "No, go ahead and toss it in". While still watching your video, I saw you make the "Barn Door" that your "Engineer" helped you out with, and yelled, "Hey honey, grab that glass jar before recycling comes to get it!" What a riot, and perfect timing! Oh, also, I'm somewhat new to your channel, and I love walking around the house practicing your accent while saying "I'm your Latina next door"! (I wish you were next door!) My husband thinks I've lost my mind. Thank you for all you share! Every bit of it is amazing!
'Latino Engineer' I love it. So adorable! I'm loving all of your DIYs. You never do anything ugly. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas to your familia from mine. 🎄❤
They are all beautiful. ,y favorite is the tea kettle. It is so exquisite. Thank you. This visit my second time watching It. It relaxes me and am learning a lot. I will be watching it again. TFS. God bless.
Thank You for these ideas. It’s now Jan 2022 and I’ve recently discovered your site. I agree that your DIY’s are well thought out and carried out with great care and attention to detail. I wish the like button would show degrees of like because these DIY’s are Great! More than just 1 like. Thank you again!
For the oven cover, I had the same disdain of a 4 slice toaster. My father made a 3 sided box with a top, of course. He then cut out six squares to look like drawers. He then put some tiny porcelain knobs in the center of each drawer. I chalk painted it and it looks like old spice drawers. I love it!
While a bit lengthy, I loved this video. My favorite diy was the Pumpkin Patch sign as well as the tray made from the towering blocks. Appreciate your attention to detail! You do great work 👏 👏👏
I love all your diys. I think the phone would have looked even better with a shiny gloss finish. But it still looks good. I would have also blinged it up. I love my bling. 😅
My absolute favorite project is your amazing painted floor. It's got to be one of the cutest floors, tile, or no tile that I've ever seen anywhere. I wish we lived closer so I could pay you whatever you would charge so you could repeat it on my kitchen and bathroom floors. You are no doubt the best crafter on youtube! It's nice the way you explain every step, and we get to watch in real time the projects you do. Thank you so much for all the wonderful ideas and for being such an inspiration to us. God bless you and your sweet family.
I had heard other TH-camrs mention you and your work so when I came across you by accident today I had to check out your video. There are so many competent crafters that either go too fast or assume we really know all the things anyway. You explain everything in such detail and do it so pleasantly to boot. Some crafters are just depressing and don’t warn us of what we need to watch out for or how to do variations of the projects. You excel in all those ways. I will be an ardent follower from now on. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching so clearly. Love them all. 😍
Yeah the pillows turned out so cute I stumbled across your channel and am glad I did I gave you a like and now I will be watching u from now on!! Good job
Thank you for putting these 20 projects together. There are awesome! I want to make several of them. I loved the terrra cota one that can be changed with the seasons. 🤔💜💜💜
That mirror though! I love it!! Can we just say gorgeous?? The rope tray and barn door are each beautiful too. Okay, okay already! The pillows would be perfect for my couch in summer! Feels very beachy fresh. ❤ Its great that you are using blues and whites! ie the tissue box skirt. Black and white check is so overdone by everyone!...your projects feel breezy and so fresh. ❤ Watched ALL 20!... GREAT PROJECTS & IDEAS. 💡
So much inspiration in this video. I can’t pick a favorite but I think the pumpkin patch sign and the beaded mirror along with the tray all have to be at the top. Fantastic job with everything. Looking forward to the Wednesday posts in 2021! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
Just a suggestion for anyone wanting to make the mirror with the half cut beads... maybe you could try putting a drop of hot glue on them and stick them to a surface and paint them and then pull them off after they dry and pull the hot glue off.
They were all great, beautiful, and wonderful. I loved them all those you had made with your hands. How does live change in three years. But you guys have a wonderful family. Hulda, from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 🎉 Lots of Blessings to all your beautiful family members, soon seven.
Love the braided hula skirt vase! Gorgeous! Tip for you when sewing hems/seams: I was taught to place the pins perpendicular to the hemline and you don’t even have to remove as you are sewing because the sewing machine needle slides over them. (I’ve rarely had it hit directly on the pin anyway)
I had that very same thought the entire time I was watching Yami sewing, but maybe it's just a preference of hers, haha. That's how I was taught as well. Funny that I remember that clearly from childhood when my Mom sat me down at the sewing machine right around 5th grade.
OMG! These are so beautiful, there is not one I don't like or even try to just choose one. I wish I could afford to have someone come to my home and help me redo my living room and make it look more rustic. You inspire me to do some of your DIY's. Thank you again for sharing all your beautiful crafts.
Am loving all your DIY ideas, am so excited that I have subscribed to your channel, and can't wait to see what you have in store for us.Thank you so much for sharing your amazing crafty ideas.👍👍👍👍🤗🤗
So enjoy your English/Spanish word art ideas. As a "gringa" living in El Salvador with my husband and kiddos, I'm always looking out for new ways to blend our beautiful cultures.
Just came across your channel Love your design! You need to give a tour of all projects done at end so we can see how they tie in with what's surrounding them
Little sewing tip, place your pin the opposite direction with the head on the outer edge & you can sew leaving your pins in till done, sewing right across them! Love your diy's
How totally clever are you!! I loved everything, but the paper whites were incredible! You probably don't sleep well at night with all those ideas swimming around your creative head! I'm amazed!
I’m so glad I found you, not only is your voice very soothing but your description of each step is very easy to follow. I was very impressed with your creativity and replication of high end decor. Thank you for sharing your ideas. This was so enjoyable to watch. So of course, I subscribed! Lol
Wow! 😍These are some of my most favorites!! I've always loved that side table you did! And the wood tray is gorgeous! I forgot about that one. I'm excited to see all of the awesome DIY inspiration and tips your channel will bring in the new year!! Here's to a fabulous 2021🤗🥂❤ Hugs 😚
You must be kidding! I can't, I simply cant pick my most favorite! However, the tips you gave are by far my favorite for reducing and eliminating frustration and building great knowledge that helps the fledgling DIY'er! You totally top the charts for me. Thank you!!! ♡♡♡
I trick to painting half beads, stick them to contact paper before you paint them. They peel off just like a sticker and much easier to paint! Loved the video!
You are very creative and these were some of the best DIY projects I have seen. My favorite was the tray with the white jars with the foliage you added for fall.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and even though I’m less than ten minutes in, I know I’m going to love learning from you! I paused the video to write so I wouldn’t forget to share a tip. If you need to paint tiny, light weight items again, a small bit of hot glue to keep them in place will help. 🙂 Now I’m going to finish watching your impressive work. 👍🏻
I just learned a tip for painting the half wood beads. I was so excited because it really is messy. I do hope this makes sense but if you place painters tape across the top of a box or on piece of card board with the sticky side facing up. Then place a piece of tape on each end to hold your tape strips firmly on the box or cardboard. next just place your beads cut side down to the sticky side of tape and now you are ready to paint without the mess. The beads stayed in place while you paint them. I've just recently used this technique and loved it. I wish I could remember which DIY'er that used this technique but I can"t. Loved the barn door and the hula skirt diy but all of your diy's are awesome..
Enjoyed your channel this year I look forward to Wednesday’s next year. Your ideas are unique and classy and anyone could use them. I didn’t see the link for the mini miter box is it on Amazon
I love every one of these diys. I can't even pick a favorite. They are all great. Would you do a video on how to set up a new sewing machine right out of the box as if it were new. I have not sewn in years and have forgotten how to thread everything through properly. This would be so helpful. Thank you.
And figuring out the right tension for the thread on the top and for the bobbin thread! And what to do to fix if the thread knots up in the bobbin area!
My favorite was the grass skirt vase. I'm not a coastal decor person but your ideas are very inspiring. I"m more of a French country eclectic with a 125 year old farm house to decorate. You're so versatile with your skill set! And you've definitely given so many of us inspiration! :)
I like your toaster cover. I have been trying to figure out how to go about making a cover for our hot water heater. It's a short, chubby, 40 gallon guy! As I was watching you make your toaster cover I figured it out. Next weeks project!
Here's your One Million plus One! Like I commented I am all about the Cover appliances and the cover pillows as well, I recommend going to thrift stores look for those baggy or oversized sweater or cardigans for the buttons, those buttons are big as well. Loved every single DIY.
I Can NOT LIE. My favorite are ALL OF THEM. gracias for this video. Im starting to look for ideas on HOW TO DECORATE ON A BUDGET. Amiga you showed me how. Thank you for those DIY 😁
You did a fantastic job on you crafts. I especially liked the green stripped Home sweet home, the pillow cases and the appliance cover. You are very talented.
You really have blossomed in 2021! I started watching 7 or 8 months ago! Your very versatile as a crafter and home rehaber! I have loved almost everything you do and look forward to 2022!
You are, without a doubt, but favorite DIYer!!! No one I have watched does high end pieces like yours. What a God-given gift of creativity you posess!
Right?!?! And everything she does is cleanly done... they by NO MEANS look like DIY projects!! Absolutely AHHHHMAZING!!
I agree and encourage you to search FIA GARCIA DIY, you’re welcome ☺️
