Tower District was fun about 25 years ago, but it is now run down looking and disgusting with the homeless messes. I finished off the last 3-4 years of my Postal Service career working at the Tower station and it was a daily nightmare cleaning up the filth left in the doorway by homeless people. It used to be cool because it was like a little slice of San Francisco, it is now horrible for the same reason.
Thanks for this. Moved to Clovis (Loma Vista area) from Fresno 3 years ago. One thing I noticed is that our city utility bill (water, septic, trash) is 50% of what Fresno charged, which is nice. But I'm surprised to hear that our cost of living is 45% above the national average! Ouch!
Clovis, CA is a nice place to live/raise kids. The cost of housing is more expensive than other nearby cities. But, it’s worth it if you have the money.
We looking to move there but I’m also planning to get my real estate license… was curious if they have a HomeSmart agency there? Might Need your guidance curious about renting first. Have 2 kiddos 9 and 12 and they are both very active and few grades ahead at basis school
Water water water get a whole house water system the water here ewww also air get air purifier air in summer ewww rest of year not bad but I do love the gated communities but now that loma vista is growing I want to go outside more of the town
@@LivingInClovisCA . The the lunacy of building a freeway so that it intersects with all the rest of them 168 should’ve been built straight out Clovis Avenue to the 99. North Pinedale is Riverpark dislike the traffic and all the extra lights.

Hey Gilbert, thanks for sharing! What is it you dislike about North Pinedale in Fresno? And what area do you like better?
