they are not line shy but having a mono leader is helpful when you get them out of the water vs getting cut by he braid when the flop around
What city in the bay is that near by? I find it to fish the jerkbait. A bit slower to let them time to smack it.
I go to the beach and surf fish for perch and striper the surf striper are something else
When is the best time to Striper fish high tide or low tide
Always high tide but sometimes it depends if the school is near.
