- During our recent trip in Udon Thani, we stayed at a budget hotel called Top Hostel which is smack bang in the middle of all of the bars and restaurants. This is a two star hotel with an excellent location.

I think I could watch a video about just about anything in Udon Thani. I'm very interested in it as a possible next step from Cambodia. Am also curious about Burriram. The impression I get it's a similar vibe but extra low key. Thanks for the videos.

That must still be Pandemic prices. There is no elevator only stairs & you got the ground floor & 3 floors above that & just before the Pandemic it was 600 for the bottom floors & 500 for the top floors which I think is still great value for it’s location & as you say it basic but got all you need & it’s clean.

Personally, I'd spend a little more for the nearby Pannarai hotel. It's nicer, quieter, has a pool and bigger rooms. Probably need to book the Pannarai ahead of time though, because it fills up more often. On the other hand, Top Hostel/Mansion is ideal for a short-time stay. I'm enjoying your Udon and Nong Bua Lamphu videos.
