Don’t be a copy but an original. That’s cool, being a social anomaly but the culture we live in, folks gotta fit in otherwise they get canceled and go to jail or harassed or even worse. Thank the snowflakes

Yes, but we can't be that way unless we want to turn into other societies that operate like that. Group think is great for those in power and a detriment to those partaking.
People need to change the way they think, then we might stand a chance. There can be communal collectivism and individuals simultaneously as long as the community is accepting (tolerant) of individualism.
Ideally, individuals working together would make actual progress possible. If humans could only get there, then we might have a chance at a better world.
