@@fourseven6202 Enjoy that show! Currents is bar none my absolute #1 right now. The energy and passion they bring is unparalleled. Imho, best metalcore outfit in the scene right now as far as song content and instrumentalism goes
thx! still unsure which day to pick but agree definitely the best in the scene right now, with the last two albums they became my top 1 band@@anthonywilson6699
This live concert made me realize how amazing currents is. My best friend in Seattle saw them and claims best band he's seen live. Id like to find out to say thr same.
Came here for Kill The Ache and these were my thoughts: - Intro of the verse: okay - Verse: Who tf was responsible for the mix? Lead guitar was way too loud - Chorus: Get a better backup screamer, NOW! Or just let those screams in the background music. That backup is just insultingly bad. It's almost funny again. Brian is alright at singing, but his screams partially sound like straight from the record. Liked that.
Hey ensco, thanks for your thoughts. I mixed this show. I feel like it translated pretty well on camera; kudos to the OP who filmed this. Anyway, we’ve all come a long way since our first headliner. You should hear Christian’s screams now; they’re actually very good. As for my mixing choices, I have deliberate reasons. I mix for me and my band. You may have different preferences, and that’s okay. Thanks for your input!
@@gibsonfan3 Well now I feel like an asshole. I was an asshole. If it makes things better, I've just started with anti-depressants.. I want to apologize for my wording, however I stand by my opinion. But it's great to hear that the bassist has improved his screaming. To be clear, I never wanted the band to change the bassist, I just thought it was a bad decision to let him do the backup vocals. If no one is capable of doing them nicely, then they should have just stayed in the playback in my opinion. And even if I'm not a fan of your preferences, I think it's cool that you're doing live mixing at all.
@@ensco7 No worries. I wouldn’t be in the industry if I had thin skin. Also, forgot to mention this, but Ryan, our other guitarist, wasn’t able to join us for this tour due to health reasons. So we were running guitar tracks, and I usually lean more on the live guitar because that’s a better performance even with its errors.
@@gibsonfan3 i have a poor ear so can't comment on his screams, but Christian's moves during your shows are wicked. Never seen someone bounce around like that. Was introduced to you guys in melbourne late last year for the Polaris concert and couldn't believe how good you guys performed. Instant fan

Found this band like a month ago. Already got a ticket in europe. Blessed
You got some great footage. Sound is very good also, which is always the downside of live footage on TH-cam. Thanks for sharing!

So underrated when they are on tours they usually put the headliner to shame. 😂

I agree with these things, bassist isn't the best at back screams
