FlightTravels I fly Bangkok airways every week on the Bangkok-Trat route and occasionally on the Bangkok-Chiang Mai route. I know what to expect and if anything is out of the norm.
I love Bangkok Airways. Something more expensive but a great service for a flight of almost 1 hour. Have often flown to Chiang Mai with them. Thank you for this nice video.
Nice hop , it still amazes me they are able to cram in a full hot meal and a drinks service all in 1 hour. It really bugs me that Bangkok airways can do this, but EU / American carriers give you basically nothing on a flight of this duration. Was the turbulence bad or just enough for them to want to stop the service to be safe ? Great video as always
Indeed! It's a glaring discrepancy in services between Asian and EU/American carriers, though Bangkok Airways service is top of its class. Hot 3-course meals for an hour long flight in Economy is not something even major Asian flag carriers would provide! The turbulence was slight, just for them to discontinue the service as a precaution. I really look forward to flying with Bangkok Airways again soon. You should not miss out the Night Bazaar as well as the temples in the old city. Chiang Mai has a pretty laid back atmosphere compared to Bangkok and I'm sure you will appreciate it. Enjoy!
I do like the service and the access of their lounges. But, I hopefully they've improved their vegetarian meals. Every time I pre order a vegetarian meal on Bangkok airways, their vegetarian meals are absolutely tasteless.
