    I used to rewatch officials I play. But I haven't watched other pov demos in preparation. I rather find a video that condenses the information for me. There are a few good channels of out there.
    But most importantly, I feel like my time is better spent to play the game to improve if I manage the time. Since from just playing pugs, I notice that my individual skill isn't where it should and could be based on better form I had in the past when I was playing more hours.

    Imagine watching a demos for 2 hours and compare it to playing deathmatch for 2 hours. Can you see the potential difference? In 2 hours of watching a player playing your spot, you can develop whole new technique of a playstyle thath you can start to work on and understand. This will not only win you games but whole tournaments. Meanwhile, 2 hours of deathmatch will have very little impact on the way you play, if any.
    OMG thath motivates me a lot it is easy to say but it is so motivating and so true. Díky Styko.

    I made chats for every map in my discord server where I post the link to the demo I watch and writing down everything that I want to try out, or rounds which inspired me of doing my own strats, it helps me to have an ez overview and the other teammembers can also see it

    Yo dude sick video but the sound quality of your voice is not at the level of the graphics a lot of room reverb. I would get a mic arm and have the mic closer to you. If u are recording the audio through a DAW try to compress a lil bit and lower a bit the gain of the mic. Cheers

      yeah, my room is still having huge echo. Need to put some furniture in place and fix mic setups :D

    Hey Styko, great content. Just want to ask, what software do you personally use to analyse your demo's?

    • @STYKO
      @STYKO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      For individual purpose I use normal built-in system within CSGO
      For team purpose we use shadow.gg but it can be expensive for many teams. There are other, cheaper, options such as Skybox.

    Do you have a take on demo watching for faceit solo queue? How should I approach it when pugs are so random? Also pen and paper notes are based

    • @damtt4555
      @damtt4555 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      man if the pug is random, you have to adapt to it. Do good random plays in certain parts of maps, rotate, feel the game in the moment.

      If you want to specificly abuse some players by antistrating (lets say you are in FPL and you face same players a lot) you just focus on their routines, how they take map control or play their spots on CT, they will usually repeat what they are comfortale at.
      If you want to watch demo and spot mistakes of players (or yourself) you can do it, but it will be very limited because comms and team chemistry is almost always non-existent. So take it with a grain of salt. You want to focus on rounds where you die and try to come to a conclusion why you died. Was it bad duel you took? bad positioning? bad reaction/rotation? That is a thing where you can improve even through solo queue.
