Interesting to see no monster trick spam. Definitely more practical but, button mashing to your hearts content is always fun. Also, the insane acrobat twists look hilarious
Hehe yeah, when I make videos like this I always make sure I'm kinda varying my tricks up a little. I'll do the occasional monster trick for style, but doing them all the time would get old FAST. Longplays are all about showing off as much of the game as possible, so I vary my tricks, paths and even riding styles!
Great video! Is there any special stat I should power up more then others to make the tricks a little easier? Any stat that can make me spin faster or jump higher to make the tricks more simple?
Thank you! Spin is definitely the most important attribute, it's amazing. After that, speed and tricks in equal measure. As you get to peaks 2 and 3 don't sleep on edging or acceleration either. Toughness you can actually save some money and leave it at 4.0, after that point it makes no more difference.
So the ??? tricks show up when you do a trick that has more than 5 flips in it or more than 2520 degrees of rotation in it. So if you do a really big trick, you can get ???. They're very easy to do on the trick boost jumps, so if you go to the big trick boost in either Snow Jam right before the forest, or Ruthless Ridge early on in the track, I'm sure you can get some!
1080p, you mean? Not for now, my display literally won't allow it. I play on a 1366x768 display, so the highest quality I can upload in is 768p, lol. If I get a more modern display (read: not a 10-year old TV) in the future, and an internet connection without a data cap, then maybe!
It's because I live in a remote location, so there's no real competition for internet coverage. For that reason, ISPs can offer poor service or data caps for expensive prices since no one has any other viable options. Lol.
Quite a bit, actually! The controls are very different - grab buttons and therefore uber tricks are actually on the face buttons, like the Xbox equivalents of square, triangle and circle. The graphics are different, loading screens are shorter (almost nonexistent). And even on top of that, there's obviously the aspect of framerate too.
Right? Kinda freaky, isn't it? Every time something odd happens you're expecting something like my patented "excusez-moi, what in the world was that?" but it never comes... eerie.

I loved the game when I was young but I should've let it rest in my memories, because as an adult I hate it. Don't know why I thought I had to wrote that comment, but I stand to it and I will never touch that disgusting game again.
