How much is it
Chrysler Corp has used that same alternator nearly forever. You can pick up one cheap at a salvage yard.
Quality from a salvage yard will be very hit and miss.
Rule #1 Don't ever sell yourself short on what something is worth especially in a public forum! cause there is people out there that are fans of that body style. Get a old school saddle blanket seat cover for the seat. Take and get a reese hitch adapter and weld it into the channel iron step. Work out the bugs cause that is a sound old truck. You might also wait till after Christmas to sell her cause people are going to be buying other things coming up for Christmas. Just some thoughts from the Old guy.

Farmers now prefer diesel engine trucks due to idle time and slow creeping time in fields plus power and off road ag(red diesel) fuel is cheaper
@@70elcamino. I agree, no real farmer is going to buy that truck. That said there is still probably plenty of old gas trucks working on farms.

I'm guessing that rust was there before the water pump. The staining is from the coolant yes but that will wash out.
The alternator was charging your nearly dead battery and that caused the belt to squeal.
She would make a cool vintage Mopar drag car hauler or keep it and bob the rear. A shortened version may be more useful and easier to drive through town.

You can replace the rear axle. Get one from a junkyard off of a dually truck or tow truck. Put a diesel in the truck. Then you will have it driving the way you want. Upgrade the front brakes to and the master cylinder it could be replaced. Upgrade to a 70s style Dodge master cylinder what's a brake booster
Well damn I just saw this truck on marketplace and looked up 1965 dodge D500 to see if there were any videos with info about them and here I am watching a video of the exact same truck

Also get nice alternator 100 amp for old Dodge farm truck , brakes take time to sit in propley and you pump pedal till tight on when engine do few times be back to tight again soon after lots drives too ! Also did find why radio didn't work okay too and be wise figure out too before sell it too! Next truck you should find be International like old Dodge and GMC or Chevrolet they are fun too fix up too! I say should get $5.000 for this old Dodge truck and be worth too!

I had a 67 d500 and it had a hydro-vac system for brake booster there was a small air filter behind the seat and the system was under the cab on the frame... just a poor designed setup from factory.... I would convert it over to a modern power brake setup with a prop. Valve

your video of when you were working on the brakes was where I left you a comment on how to properly bleed your brakes . no fancy equipment needed. also you can do it alone. you should really read it. when you learn to do it properly you will only have to do it once unless there is a bad line. check out my comment !!!! you are being very dangerous driving while there is air in the lines.

Transmission takes gear oil. Fluid is for automatics. Gear oil is not too fluid.

I don't think anyone cares about how much you know buddy. I'm 19 and have owned a carburated truck for 3 years now and I'm always learning new things about how they work. I'm sure you know a lot about carburators and how they work, but it's not a competition on who knows more or less, it's always about putting in the effort yourself to learn more. 😉
