It's unbelievable that by pointing out the Chinese origin of companies in many contexts zero-IQ people like you always come up with that totally false, totally nonsensical, childish line.
1. Other products services don't matter when talking about this specific product/service
2. When we have choice we shouldn't pick the evil ones. If with for example mobile phones we don't have any choice at all with the MANUFACTURING location the whole argument is moot and in no way comparable. With hotels we have a massive amount of choices.
3. And even with phones the answer is: No, my mobile phone is not from a Chinese company! You see a company being Chinese vs. a Western company's product being manufactured in China is a very different thing.
4. If I had a choice, if there was a phone available that was from a Western company and was NOT made in China I would gladly pay extra for it. (Though in reality we all do pay a lot extra for what we think are cheap Chinese-made phones...the bill just comes in a different form and much of it is deferred and will hit us in the future).

So, for a one night stay on a weekday in early October, this suite would cost me well over two months rent for my very spacious, modern and comfy two bedroom apartment, here in Canada. Crazy. Very nice hotel and location, though.

As a guy who lives in Tropical country in Asia one of the interesting about Europe is the town mostly clean.

Have you stayed at the Ritz or Park Hyatt in Vienna by any chance? This hotel looks top notch, might even be better than the Park Hyatt and ritz and that is saying something!

What a beautiful building from the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire the Hapsburgs and now a top notch 7 star hotel and Spa in my opinion and based on the marvel that you have shown us. However in the midst of so much style, opulence, comfort and great restaurant with an extended menu. I found it hard to believe that on the dessert menu there was no Sacher Torte which is as Austrian as can be like us in the USA not having any apple pie and vanilla ice cream nowhere in site. It is just unheard off. Laugh out loud. How many days did you spent at the hotel? Which airline took you there? Will you have a video of sightseeing in Vienna not just the palaces, gardens, museums, etc, etc. but also the fine boutiques on that famous avenue? Thanks again for taking us there with you to enjoy old world aristocracy with modern day lodging a 7 star hotel in my opinion once again.

I gave up after 10 minutes of boredom! It is a reasonably nice hotel … and nothing more … in a nice central location. Rosewood need to get better.
You know you have watched too many of your excellent Maldives videos when the meal prices for this hotel look very reasonably priced.

Genuine question - the atrium is beautiful but it feels like it lacks a purpose. What is it for? It’s not immediately apparent that you have to get in an elevator to go to check in, there’s no one to welcome you, it has seats but no real reason why anyone would sit there - you can’t get a coffee or a drink, you can’t get information about the city, if you were staying at the hotel, you’d probably go straight through it. It just seems a beautiful wasted opportunity.
Luxury doesn't always need to serve any practical purposes. It's just beautiful and maybe just not ordinary.
Many up market hotels are designed like this, maybe one day you may stay in one and appreciate it, recently I stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the reception was on the 88th floor

William Morris said you’re should only have in your house things that you know to be useful or believe to be beautiful and that ideally, they should be both. I agree and that was my observation - that it was a beautiful space but one which could have had a clearer sense of purpose.

Apparently Vienna is a super boring place . A friend of mine is going there a lot (he is a pilot) and was saying that after 8PM it is completely dead . So I suppose it is important to be at least in a nice hotel .

If the building was constructed in 1835, then Mozart could not have lived there. He died in 1791.
Rosewood Vienna is composed of 4 buildings (the bank building was completed 1835)

I was envisioning your face before I met you and I had no idea that the face that I was imagining was a face of an ex-lover in my past life.
However, Im not sure if the guy that I saw was you or its all from my imagination.
As pretty as this is, I was shocked about the workstations for the receptionists and the concierge. Clearly style was more important than ergonomically healthy working. Those chairs and the height of those desks are a perfect recipe for back and neck pain. Not impressed. Also nothing on the buffet was labelled. At least the allergens for each product should be labelled. Apart from that it's really nice.
I thought the same in regard to the work stations. Poor choice of seating for staff. I saw that they were already sitting hunched over. Beautiful hotel but they have a duty of care.

Nice hotel. Sadly the "magnificent exterior" is all that's preserved. The rest is reminiscent of many hotels all over the world. Nothing particularly special nor Vienna-special about it. A pity.
This review channel has severe biases towards the Rosewood Chain. Every hotel he reviews for them is supposedly “the best”.
