U dont need to put the magic mouse for full charge....full charge takes like 2 hours...
but 5 mins of charge can make u work for a full day

@@supreme4023 ik, magic mouse is rechargeable but my point was that my mouse costs less than the micro fiber cloth made by apple yet it lasts long
also the reason it lasts long because it is a dongle based mouse, you attach the dongle to your laptop and boom it's connected, and yes I do play games for a long time and no one uses a magic mouse to play games
I would really love to see the same thing but with CPU / GPU usage! The video itself is very informative but it would also be very useful for those seeing whether or not they want to upgrade to a M2 Pro or M2 Max, or in my case 16gb of RAM, I would love to see what the bottlenecks are - but thank you so much for this video!

If only apple supported gaming. The fact that this chip can almost get 60fps consistently at 1440x900 ultra settings is insane for a baseline chip without a dedicated graphics card. That means it would handle 1080p medium as good as if not better than consoles
Yeah old cod game, ofc its working the gtx 1050ti has the same level for it. U pay for the performance on desktop and not gaming. But still ok

You can blame Apple for only supporting Metal API and and a legacy OpenGL API for that. Metal lacks a lot of functions that the industry standard (Vulkan/DX12) has. Also, take note that this COD runs under Rosetta (translation/emulation) so we can't really see the real performance of this chip. Still impressive, even taking this doubtful choices.
@@m.g.a3481 Yeah, you are right but the GTX 1050ti uses 75W (only counting this GPU) while the M2 uses at most 15W. For an integrated GPU and CPU it still very impressive.

and for every half box that apple saves by not putting useful usb-a, HDMI or a charger on their phones consumers use 2 extra boxes to get those things shipped to their house, great "green" initiative by apple

Apple uses recycled cardboard/paperboard. USB4/Thunderbolt 4 is defenitely more useful than plain USB-A, you can use a dongle of your choice and you can get everything working, including HDMI. That being said, the choice of not putting a charger with the iPhone is bullshit. I won't trust their statement about being less pollutant, it's just greedy.
My brother in christ the 14/16” macbook pros have those ports. Not to mention a tiny ass fraction of users buy the hdmi adapter. They are a smart business. They eliminate costs.

I just bought the m3 pro max 16 inch MacBook with 128gb ram and 8tb ssd it is the best laptop ever i always game on it the most hardcore games without a single issue and i can even open tens of 8k resolution videos and pictures to edit all at once without it crashing a bit
When I didn’t know how Mac books performed on games like actually wanted one but when I found out I decided to go the gaming laptop route since I do a lot of gaming

Man I've never been a fan of apple in anyway but im so surprised with this machine they sure weren't playing around when they revealed their new chip
its really about the efficiency, these chips do not get that hot and yet output quite a bit of performance, now gaming isn't the intended purpose here since there are only integrated graphics.

Minecraft was really impressive considering the new M2 and it was a little laggy but definitely playable. (and with 32 chunk that actually load not like other computer's)

Don't think so. They designed it like that so you won't leave it charging forever and just keep using it while charging. It's a bluetooth mouse and they want you to use it as a bluetooth mouse

@@davidschumacher8004 actually the real reason is that the current magic mouse design is based off of the previous magic mouse which had replaceable AA batteries. But the locations of the battery is on the bottom, so when they put a rechargeable battery in and changed the design a little, the battery was in the same location but the charger was put on top of it as a result.
to be honest i prefer this design than the new macbook pro. it just like more premium hahaha

Most of the time the slowdown is due to heat and thottling and bandwidth. Macbook chasis is not designed to move air in and out or have any cooling system in place, so the fact that it can run like this is very impressive still.
It stutters because of just 8GB of unified memory..if he had 16GB, games like Rust etc. would run better

@@goochipoochie well the performance is impressive, the fact you didn't get that games are not optimized yet is the problem here bro. It is super powerful (CPU), GPU also shines but in apps that are optimized for Mac and for ARM..hopefully in the future (1 year or so) we will get more games..Resident Evil Village is coming and you should be able to play it on M1 Air without a fan in 1080p on stable playable framerate so that is hell lot of impressive..the fact it consumes like 15-20W of power on full load is even more mindblowing. Super efficient thin and powerful laptops with best in class keyboards, trackpads, screens and battery life..

Bro, Macbook pro om M2 with 256gb has only one ssd while M2 on 512GB+ has 2 SSDs. Thats why 256 M2 runs slower than M1. Check it out

I have a Mac book pro 2016 and have windows on it (via bootcamp) and deleetd mac os and get 120 fps (by optimizing the heck out of it) , it doesnt even overheat

it works on fortnite and it stays at a solid 60 fps. sometimes goes to 59 or to 61 but its usually locked to 60
