I live in Tucson, and honestly a LOT of these homeless people are crackheads. I’ve seen a lady standing next to a freeway exit yelling and throwing hands at nothing but thin air. This morning on my way to work, I literally saw a guy using a crack pipe. I also saw a homeless man/crackhead walk thru a drivethru and just start yelling and screaming and frantically throwing his hands at the window for literally no reason. When I went to college downtown, there was a gas station next to the college, and multiple times I would get out to go to class and they’d be screaming at the top of their lungs at eachother, basically speaking gibberish. There was another night where my battery died ln my vehicle, so I stayed inside my vehicle sitting outside of a fast food place, and this one crackhead lady was walking by, then as she walks by my truck starts yelling and threatening me she’s gonna F me up. Tucson is a different breed of homeless, because a lot of them genuinely are crackheads.

Michael, the ordinance makes no sense really. Yes, the wording is legalese. Just for helping. They might turn a blind eye instead. How dare you feed the homeless and make their day a little better. (sarcasm). The worlds messed up when you can go to court for helping those less fortunate in public spaces. Those 2 that approached you should be ashamed of themselves. Theres a difference between "doing their job" and "being a decent human being". All theyd need to say is "we havent seen him yet" to their bosses and noone would know and you wouldnt be bothered. The fact you've been to court over it is absolutely a joke. Needing a Permit to help out the homeless lol GOOD OH AMERICA. If people in power actually got off there a** and helped the homeless then this would never be a problem. Thank you, Michael, for all you do. I especially appreciated this segment, regarding Tucson ordinance against feeding people in the parks, of which I was unaware. Until July of 2020, I have spent most of each year persuing my own mission to feed the elderly and disabled in the ranchitos in a mountainous area of one state. Not only was LEGAL to do so, but actually encouraged and much appreciated by the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) the churches and, of course, the people themselves! Without help, the poorest of the poor were eating tortillas and fruit that fell off the trees, not much more. I'm disabled and on SSA, but I missed being able to help, si I recently began handing out gallons of ice cold water, cokd watermelon and home cooked hot food in one of the parks. You saved me from being cited. It saddens me that Tucson is creating and growing an already out if control homeless population. Apparently, there are no caps on how much landlords can increase rents. Once you have an eviction on your record, I hear that is impossible to get approved for another home. In the last month, friebds have told me of rents being raised from $100/mo yearly, to $450 and one $1000/month increase. Their wages and income haven't increased, so they cannot pay, therefore, ever increasing evictions. God bless!

I think sometimes that's why some are on the streets, because they can't find it in their hearts to be grateful in life. Gratitude is not only the key to happiness, but also a great factor in our own prosperity.
Some of them aren’t even interested in the food.

I love this guy's ability to care so much! I struggle with depression and these videos are very encouraging and make me want to get out and do things to help others in hopes they get inspired like I do.
I have been harassed in Tucson and in San Diego for giving food, water, and clothes. Screw these inhumane assholes. Good on you for continuing to help people. I will Never understand the cruelty and stupidity of some people and their rules and laws

That "ordinance" definitely doesn't apply to you! You cant attract people when you show up at random times and come and go quickly. That's so nice what you are doing, Mike!! It makes me very happy to see you comfort the people to the best of your ability.
Maybe a way around the "ordinance" would be to say he's just helping out his friends. I mean he knows them by name and visits them on a daily basis. If things gets dicey I would talk to a lawyer just in case. Plus he has proof that he knows them from his videos.

Goodness in People, please be very careful when serving the homeless. A WW1 or WW2 Veteran I believe his name was Mr. Abbott (Arnold or Tom, can't remember.) The police arrested him for serving the homeless in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You need to hook up with the Federal Government in Washington, DC. and get this issue legally taken care of. According to my Native American people, they took care of my European people during the freezing cold winter storm and saved their lives. They were homeless and nobody cited or arrested them for it. Have a discussion with the President and see if, the What Would Jesus Do clause can be legally written up, signed and notarized in a letter to exempt you for getting arrested, cited and in trouble. Everyone is one paycheck from being homeless. What would happen if you gave a diabetic an orange juice to keep from passing out, having a seizures and going into a coma, would the police arrest you for saving that person's life or still simply, how about giving to those in need (which you are already doing.)?

As l prayed for the friends on the street this a.m., l realized that "they are herded like cattle" adage isn't true... the owner of cattle waters & feeds them daily, multiple times maybe. Cattle have worth to their owners. JESUS loves these humans, 'all eyes look expectantly to Him', as it's written. ' HE feeds them. He loves them. We love them. We feed them. They have far more worth than the sparrows HE created. Than the cattle that get herded. Do what you can, friends, while it's called today. Jesus says, "Give, serve." The world says, "Take, get served..." Pretty easy choice. Choose whom you will serve today. If it's GOD, serve HIM, if it's yourself, serve yourselves... stay well. Great works, Tucson Mike.

Hi Michael, as always thank you , being kind to these people, asking their names, and remembering their names, means a lot to theses people, most of them are not homeless by choice, I am sure, they would like to be in an air conditioned place
That is riduculas that you can't feed people who are hungry some of these people would go hungry if it was not for you!!! I am a Christian woman but my thoughts of those jackasses are not very Christian right now!!!

What would they rather see, homeless starving to death! Jesus! I am angry, especially when you think these job worths are actually being paid to tell you not to feed the homeless!! You see do not feed signs on animal cages.....they are not animals!!! Do they not have any murderers or drug dealers they can go and find!! Don't let the bar stewards get you down Michael! xxx
Sorry to hear that you are being targeted . Keep up what you do and maybe they will give you a permit.they can not treat humans like that. We are free.
