Hola, de que material está hecha la cabeza de los cables que vienen de serie en una bicicleta? Son también de plomo como el que estás fabricando, o son de otro material? Gracias buen video y un saludo.

Awesome, I knew it could be done but wasn’t sure exactly on how to get the ball shape AND if it would stick to the cable strong enough

My Harley eats throttle cables right at the grip. Ive learned to ride home using the idle screw lol. I have a way to fix it but your idea here is much cleaner. This is a keeper. 👍👍👍👍

Really this labor is in vain, my motorcycle's B gas wire was broken, I bought a new wire and passed it through the other body and made a tip on the outside like in this video. After sanding, it looked like the original, but the lead was really easily sanded and melted, although this made me nervous, I assembled it that way and exactly what I predicted happened. The end of the wire I made like in this video broke off, it doesn't really make sense to do this with lead, it breaks very easily, I melted the end of the old broken wire and it turned out to be a much stronger material. Anyway, let me give you the tactic, find a nail the thickness of this end part, then cut that nail to the desired size, drill a hole in the center of the piece you cut and pass the wire through that hole, then bend the end of the wire backwards and pull it back, you need to pull it very firmly, when the bent wire is completely inside the end you made from the nail, you can melt and pour lead into the gap at the top, then sand the excess. Now you can even pull a truck with that cable. Say thank you afterwards.
