Nice one. I was living in Bedfordshire when this project took off, and I've just started my fourth season as Rushden & Diamonds manager on a pimped out version of Championship Manager 97/98.

It is concerning though because there are people out on social media that will try and destroy your work or have things taken down. He were just a crank to me.

I made a few visits to Nene Park as an away supporter. Neat little ground which I enjoyed visiting but used to take ages getting out of the car park. Shame about their demise.

Keep up the good work mate, ignore the haters, you're covered under Fair Use through review.
Anyways, I remember watching R&D rise up through the ranks, very sad to see them crash and burn.

They were basically no more than a village team financed by mr doc martens- max Griggs. When he pulled out the inevitable demise happened.

They are not the only team like that as well. I did a video about Gretna around two month ago and they were another small team propped up by a big spender and soon as he wasn't in the picture they went under.

They were Max Griggs' plaything and once he stopped bank-rolling them they crashed and burned.
A similar situation, although less spectacular, occurred when Dave Whelan pulled out of Wigan Athletic (that story continues . . .).
Nene Park was another ground where we recognised part of the infrastructure - they bought the electronic scoreboard which had been originally used at Millwall's 'New Den'.

Reading is another club, once Madejski left they haven't been the same.

I wonder how long 'The Ammies' (Salford City) would last in the EFL if their high-profile backers were to pull out?
BTW - keep up the good work; ignore Sooty & Sweep!

Class video pal, you could probably make a good series out of looking at clubs like this

Cheers, I could do. There are more clubs in other countries who seem to go bust compared to England though.

There is one club in particular in France called Evian Thonon-Galliard, went from nothing to Ligue 1, then nothing again.

I think you got the history of R&D right saw some videos of people gaining access to the old ground before it was demolished. Don't worry about the twats its jealousy. If you want to do two clubs in on how about Dartford & Maidstone United, there old ground, why they shared Watling Street with Dartford and why Maidstone went out of business & why Watling Street was sold. Plus how Dartford managed to survive & how they got to move to their new ground back in Dartford. Very interesting story as Maidstone reformed & now play back in Maidstone at a new ground.

We played them yesterday at home in the 8th tier. Their fans were an absolute embarrassment. Tryna scrap where there were young kids, getting violent with our squad in the clubhouse after, absolutely smashing the place up. Embarrassing 🤦‍♂️

@historyoffootball87 yes mate. They brought down a coach load of about 40/50. I got to the ground (Anstey Nomads) about 45 mins before kick off, went into the clubhouse to grab a pint and they were all absolutelyyyy mashed already. Spoke to a few of them and they seemed sound but when the gam started they were throwing around flares, smashing up the away stand and then they all came over to our little "ultra section" and tried to steal our drum, start scraps while there were kids about and proper kicked off after we scored. Police had to get involved 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ these were like 35 year old men, and all 🤣🤣
