This is probably the best video you've ever made. Excellent instruction, excellent examples /in play/, including foibles. Hats off to German being an excellent teacher, and for Sven+Partner for being so coachable!
I was waiting fo the second one, but this chapter is beyond my expectations by a lot! I struggled for some time with closing the gates with the chiquitas and this explanation was on point. Thanks for all the tactical padel techniques that you show everyday in your channel. It makes me understand padel much better with each video.
Fantastic tactical explanations. 👏🏻😀 it’s a pleasure to watch German in action and learn so much. The stop before the opponent hits tip is golden. So much rushing around and getting caught on the way to the net! Hopefully I’ll be able to apply these 😊
One of best padel teaching videos. German is easily best coach you have had on ur videos in content and articulation. Would love many more videos with german.
Having spent 15 years in my youth learning tennis at a high level, I feel like I know a good coach when I see one - this guy is amazing!!! Insightful, instructive, really creates “a-ha” moments. Wow! Thanks for sharing
Absolute masterclass by German. I have had the pleasure of having lessons with German and he is an exceptional coach, especially when it comes to the tactical side of the padel which you can use irrespective of how good you are technically. Using these tactical tips I have managed to (quite easily) beat players with a monster smash/vibora etc just by stopping your feet in time, using soft balls to the angles and accelerating the ball when you receive a poor return back. Great video!
¡Vamos! Skitt bra!
Priceless lesson! The problem why we never take 1 step at a time & rush towards the net is that it’s in the ‘no mans land’! And we’re told to not do it gradually like tennis!
Great video and advanced padel tactics. In your next videos or podcasts, can u speak about the movements on the court as a couple, when u have to stay in line together or when one is upfront and the other back, especially what are the pros and cons and in which situations. Thanks very much for your content!
Great to see and also for you having German in this masterclass! There are so many small details in this video making it a joy to watch - keep it up Sven!
In this video it's nice to see how important it is to play rallies instead of out of context drills. you also emphasize this in the video. I am also a big fan of this. But when is it good not to play rallies but a drill? I sometimes notice with beginners that it is otherwise too much information, or the focus on a certain shot within the rally is forgotten.
I think for beginners it is good to Tell „Go.“ when you play a Chiquita. The more you are playing your Partner knows when to Go forward. But it is a brilliant tipp to Go just a few steps to Open the angles.
Awesome Video. In germany They always teaching Not to stay in the no Mans land. But this Chiquita playing offers me more options! Thank you guys! I had a knee Operation and i will Cole back stronger improving my chiquita tactical play.
So when is it no man's land and when is it the right time to stay in that area. I usually try to avoid that area and either go up to the net or stay back. This has been enlightening!
Love the video as usual, It's like homework for my next friendly match. I'm really interested in the differences between countries, here in Argentina I assume the style of padel is similar to Spain, I mean not everybody is rushing, you have chiquitas, lot of slow bandejas, and a lot of rhythm changes. How do you adapt to the tournaments in Spain? Do you change your style in one country or another? Is it possible to play slower in Netherlands and win? Love your channel Sven, y admiración total a Germán.
I'm from Argentina and I live in Norway where most of the guys that play well come from tennis so they have very good and fast volleys, bandejas and smashes. But I'm 100% padel, never played tennis and they get really surprised whenever I play against someone for the first time. The control and managing tempo without trying to hit the ball out of the court drives them crazy.
@@OtroNivelPadel Really good content. After playing Padel a while and want to take steps in the game. Understanding concepts and tactics. Best explanation yet about this delicate part of the game 👍
@@OtroNivelPadel I live with padel 7 Days a week as it is both my job, (teaching and running a school) and hobby. I really enjoy picking up parts from different sources and I really enjoy your videos as they are a bit longer, wellmade and in depth. Cheers from Sweden!
Hello Sven, but this rule of make One or two step max for the slow down the rally is a good idea also when you serve? Thanks for the help and Andiamo!!!
Well.. your opponents are at the back when you serve. That is a bit different. But yes it makes sense to think about the dept of the serve and the speed
Decision making for each zone on court would be an amazing one.. maybe on court better than a podcast? Would be great if there are 2.. one m for right courted and one for left courted players.. ❤️🤣
I have a question Sven... When should you not play a Chiquita? If the opponent is at the net position is it still ok or would a lob be better and less risky?
Sven, waar geeft German les in Spanje?

It is only no mans land if you stay there without knowing

Such good tips: agree with partner movements for down the line and centre Chiquita, don't rush when approaching the net
Yes, make it slow 😀

good video good lessons 👌👌👌
Thanks Hans!
Ja! Gaan we mee aan de slag
Coming from tennis hitting everything so hard, heavy & high to Padel hitting soft, slow & low
Yes, difficult huh?
I have a question Sven... When should you not play a Chiquita? If the opponent is at the net position is it still ok or would a lob be better and less risky?
If your opponent is very close to the net or if you are close to your own glass

I fell asleep after his first lob
Nice
The strange thing about moving forward step by step is that you land in the so called « no man’s land »
Yes, and thats totally fine
This just means there is no “no man’s land” 🙂
