Grey Seals: A Journey of Survival (2021 Documentary)

The grey seal has always been adept at hunting fast, elusive prey. As one of Europe's largest predators, the decline of fish stocks and increase in competition, as well as legal seal hunting, has changed their entire world--and their behavior. Recent improvements in annual surveys and animal tagging have revealed precious information about where grey seals go when they leave the coast and how they spend their lives. Their name traditionally conjures up images of adorable pups and clownish behavior, but this film uncovers another side to these predators.

This could be an awesome documentary if the audio was properly balanced. Love hearing the real sound of seals, they should not be drowning out the narration.

Oh my...that irritating unnecessary loud music.....perfect to ruin an otherwise great docu. We got too few noisy pup sounds here also. 😣

It's wonderful to see a documentary covering seals; I just wish they'd stop trying to make it "exciting" with quick-cuts and overdone music. Still, fascinating subject matter and info!

The captioned text does not match what the narrator says at all. People that are dear rely on captioned text. You need to fix this. It's misleading and false otherwise.

Amazing documentary! A life of an atlantic grey seal appears to be very brutal. Constant fighting, cannibals, orcas, hunters and fishermen. It's a lot of dangers! I wonder if cannibal serial killers emerged due the overfishing too... 🤔
