Do you rig the sail with max downhaul, with all four clics on extension and then release downhaul, or how do you do it. I didn't find any other possibility.
Most of the time I use open palm mittens. Below 3 degrees I experiment with different closed options. Those are a bit hard on the lower arms but if I focus on not gripping too tight and have had a couple sessions earlier with closed gloves then 2 hour sessions are no problem. Right now I am recovering from my first session in over a month and even with open gloves and only 1 hour my body and arms are totally destroyed.
You get identical trimming options with MANUAL pulleys which are used "on the fly". This is simply another gadget that will break and is heavier than a manual set up. When will they be making an electric wishbone for eletric outhaul ??? LOL This is rubbish
Electronic gears on bicycles also has more failure points then something manuel, and still it is used by many. This product is not for everyone but it is really something different to sail and change the trim with the push of a button and still maintaining your normal stance. Personally I like the product
@@surferkaspert4679 Happy you have found something that works - I doubt you ever tried manual downhaul and outhail before this and so don't know how much simpler and less weight it is. Cheers.
@Team33Team33 I have manual outhaul on all my race booms and my harness lines also adjust manually, and I have looked at the manual downhaul when I did the iq stuff, but decided it wasn’t for me. The extra weight is perfectly placed right at the mast foot where the manual ads less extra weight but higher up on the mast. I will stick with my way and you will stick with yours. Best regards, Kasper🤙
Great explanation of the foil shape
I am middle aged, can't pump and like everyone else, love being on the plane, therefore I NEED one of these toys! Excellent video, right to the point!
Hey! I appreciate the “nerd talk”! Cheers! 🤙🏼

I put the extension in the middle and pull my downhaul to normal setting. Then I can go both ways, 2 clicks in both directions
Hi Kasper, I picked one up myself. So I'm going to rig a sail with it this weekend. I'm very curious!
Good morning
What glove do you use to avoid getting tendinitis?

Actual price incl SDM adapter is EUR 703. Thanks for the update Kasper.
Thank you Kasper, really insightful, never had considered the windsurf sail as a wing, but makes perfect sense.
@@ronvandijk4133 thanks for the info. Glad I got mine last year when prices were lower. 😊

@@surferkaspert4679 Maybe say that you are comparing in your new comments then rather than just commend something that is useless.
