Seattle white boy, full of soul. Gone too soon. He sang a lot of heavy metal with Soundgarden and Audioslave but he could also croon a ballad with the best of them. ALL NIGHT THING, CALL ME A DOG, I AM THE HIGHWAY, LIKE SUICIDE... That last one hits a bit too close to home, perhaps. Phenomenal talent.

Seeing you react to this made my day. I'm sure you have a backlog of songs to react to as long as my leg. But you should definitely add Myles Kennedy and Alter Bridge to that list. I would recommend starting with his billboard performance of "Watch Over You". Then check out "Words Darker Than Their Wings" live at the Royal Albert Hall. In my opinion, Myles is the only singer that can really be compared to Chris Cornell in the last 25 years. Very different voices, but similar power and range. I promise you'll enjoy Myles.

When I hear this tune, I always think of the band "MOTHER LOVE BONE", Lead singer Andrew Wood.

Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell and Chris Cornell were roommates and one point. Jerry was also roommates with eddy vedder from Pearl Jam.
What I hate is he had kids and he still was so sad he chose to leave. He was such a special person.

Chris Stapleton did a cover of Nothing Compares to you when Prince passed too. The best of Chris Cornell though I think is his earlier stuff with Temple of the Dog and Soundgarden. I liked Audioslave too which was basically just Rage Against the Machine with Chris on vocals. He also did one song with Alice In Chains called Right Turn.

@@kshavon3098 listen to a lot of covers he did by the Beatles him and Eddie vedder was very close freinds when Eddie recieved the news of Chris passing away he was performing black and he changed the lyrics and was crying it was a tribute to his long time freind Chris oldest daughter has song with Chris band sound garden.
Great Reaction, I would love to see more reactions of his songs. Check out "Heaven's Dead" , "Get away car", "Scar on the Sky", or for a more heavy song from his early day, "Outshined". This cover is amazing, but This man has been writing Music since the 90's in 3 different bands and solo. Temple of the dog, Soundgarden, and Audioslave. So many amazing songs.
