- Today me and Frecilla go to Tanjung Aru beach in Kota Kinabalu, we stopped in coffee shop first to try some Kaya Butter Toast.
After this we head to Tanjung Aru beach, we were late to sunset by few minutes, we didn't expect this kind of traffic.
We enjoyed amazing sunset views and visited local market next to beach.
At Tanjung Aru beach market we got some banana snacks that were really delicious. Later that night we went to Fat Kee restoraunt to try out local fish soup that was so good!

the same term."kahwin" is also applicable to two slices of bread,served with kaya on one slice n jam/butter on the other slice. when folded together,they brand it as Roti Kahwin!

when you are in Sarawak, the Land of the Hornbills, remember to ask around to see if they can show you a local playing the Unique handmade-in-Sarawak only wooden musical instrument called SAPE ( pronounced as SAH...PEH). carved out from a selected tree trunk ( hollowed out the Rear) and fitted with a few metal strings,the sound is 100% soothing,unique and tantalizing! Hope you will like it!

Sarawak's beaches are not very distinctive because there are no islands and they appear empty, so, it is best to explore rivers and forests, Kuching activities, which are relatively pleasant close to the city.

@@Gymson spot on Kevin, I'm originally from Sarawak and yeah there are crocs everywhere, even in the seawater so you've got to be careful when you go to the beach
hello from Kampar! kopi kahwin,the drink which Presilla was drinking,is a unique blend of mixing hot coffee n hot tea,into one hybrid drink! ( kahwin is the Bahasa Malaysia term for Marriage) so when coffee n tea as two different entities,get mixed,the situation is called Kahwin. In some other parts of Malaysia, this hybrib drink is called "cham",originating from the Cantonese word for Mixed.
Oh cool David, I had no idea that she was drinking a mixed drink, I thought it was just strong coffee. Cool story behind it, makes it easy to remember for me next time I encounter that word in menu :D
Malaysia has many unique names and as you had tried it already..a drink called Neslo... this word grammatically does not exist in the Oxford dictionary but in Malaysia,we conjure new words.. Nes..from Nescafe n the rear half ,Lo is from MILO. so, this is life in Malaysia! Hope you will enjoy!By the way, which part of Ozieland are you from?
