the story seems to go in a generally ascending order of PTSD, so i'd expect that honglu is far from the worst, but topping Quixote is already disturbing.

xiachun is probably gonna die or even be used against the sinners since hong lu and his family 100% mirror dream of a black swan (you can literally see part of its abno fight background for LoR in hong lu's background) and the abno story of that has the sister of the family succumbing to the fog
Mili usually teases the song about 3 months before the Canto. Considering that the original release date before Mirror Dungeon delayed everything by a month would have been mid-March, this checks out

after doing a bit of research, the novel hong lu is based on seems to be about a sentient piece of jade asking to experience the mortal world, and being given a human form to explore the world. hong lu has been on a long journey of his own, eventually tagging along with limbus company. such a big journey would mean he learned something and changed as a person, right ? however, hong lu doesn't seem to have changed at all during the time of his journey. what if the crux of this canto was that hong lu realized that his entire journey was wasted because he didn't take time to earn lessons and change his way to interact with the world around him ? it would go along with the name of his canto : "The Surrendered Witnessing". that can go either two ways : either hong lu comes to terms with the futility of wanting to explore the world, or he actually gets executed-
remember that the names of the canto's relate to the story (like "The Heartbreaking" for heathcliff) The "Surrendered Witnessing" could mean we see something terrible, possibly giving up something important. Could do something with the jade possibly, but its definitely going to be REALLY depressing

Okay how many cantos actually even ended on a depressing note. Canto 1 and 6. The other 5 had depressing moments but we made it out better than we went in.
I gave up playing limbus a while ago because of the power spikes you got to climb, but I can’t wait to spend 4-6 hours of my day watching a full play through of Canto 8. Hong Lu is my favorite sinner and I’d love to see how Limbus interprets his extremely long novella’s plot into gameplay

this is just as obvious though, it fits the gloomy vibe (hong lu's EGO costs 5 gloom), has chinese strings (i think?, which are also associated with him) and has the 🔔tolling, which seems to play a huge role in hong lu's story (look closely at his EGO art, there's a huge bell's shadow) but it's gonna be really unfortunate if this isn't for canto 8, this sounds fantastic even without the lyrics and i cant imagine what'd it feel like during the moment

I wouldn't be surprised if its an ender magnolia song, that clinking instrument feels more appropriate for a more ambiental song, like what ender lilies/magnolia has for most of its soundtrack. Though, I can't remember the last time Mili teased a song that was didnt have vocals in the final version.

In Dream of the Red Chamber is a satirical and tragic story about the mandarin class that exploited and trampled on the people. From the beginning, I knew this was definitely not a Canto filled with happiness and "World Of Wonder"
Well, has any canto been anything close to this “world of wonder”? The city is basically the opposite to this conceptual “world”, it may at times hold a spark of wonder within in itself, but these small glimmers will revert back to the horror of the city’s foundation.
I don't know after knowing Mili and hearing Hero, Compass and fly my wings. I just somehow have a feeling it won't have any chinese instrument or chinese vibe in the song. EIM might be working with those but Mili always seem to be the one to contrast the mood for the finale fight.

I don’t think it’s ender Magnolia (unless this is a re-recording of a song because the game comes out in January) BUT this could be for another game Mili makes music for other gatchas (promise of wizard I know of both I feel like they’re getting more commissions) But I kinda have a hunch it could be for DEEMO 2 as they’re now on better terms with Rayark (see the Muse Dash collab using gunners in the rain as the MAIN song) And DEEMO was were they started getting fans (myself included) and it’s been a year since gunners in the rain (see Rayark using AI and AWAAWA releasing what robots need)
I think Mili only made like very little, few songs for Deemo, and none for their other games. But Rayark did quit including AI generated content so perhaps their relations did improve? This could be anything tho (lol) A part of me is hoping it's an Arcaea original but that's probably unlikely ever gonna happen
@ DEEMO 2 they’ve only made 3 songs for but for the original 2012 DEEMO practically all of Magi Mel and Miracle Milk were for the games. Nine point eight and YG were featured in the movie. You can pinpoint the creation of the band within Cyrus 1’s update cycles. As for the AI thing, it seems like they’ve wiped the whole concept but you never know, especially since a lot of their old composers haven’t come back and left around the time DEEMO 2 would of started development (VK, M2U, ICE had a very messy controversy etc) and the only composer that’s worked with Rayark before that’s still on with DEEMO 2 was Apollo program. IDK, there seems to be some healing going on between the old composers, who knows what goes on.
And by only composer I mean one where the community knew them before and kinda took a similar responsibly to how KIVA was with Cytus 2 with composing the main theme and important story songs as Rayark trusted them
nah thats not it, too early. kasai starts uploading his limbus song progress 1-2 months before the new season starts, we have two examples of this with through patches of violet and hero so we can say that is the pattern now. theres still like 5 months for honglu chapter. this is most likely ender magnolia, its just similar sounding to his cantos possible theme
Original plan was 4 months per canto. 6 months is just the thing PM does these days because they lack of contents. But for music producers like Mili, 2 months after the current Canto to collect feedback and create new song is plausible.

I can't explain how much of an Ender Lilies vibe I get from this. So probably Ender Magnolia.
I gave up playing limbus a while ago because of the power spikes you got to climb, but I can’t wait to spend 4-6 hours of my day watching a full play through of Canto 8. Hong Lu is my favorite sinner and I’d love to see how Limbus interprets his extremely long novella’s plot into gameplay

@@KonnivA It isn't that hard to cheese him with nlcair and Ishmael alone though. The game gives just enough shards to craft the required unit, and even then it's always possible to just borrow Nclair

this is just as obvious though, it fits the gloomy vibe (hong lu's EGO costs 5 gloom), has chinese strings (i think?, which are also associated with him) and has the 🔔tolling, which seems to play a huge role in hong lu's story (look closely at his EGO art, there's a huge bell's shadow)
but it's gonna be really unfortunate if this isn't for canto 8, this sounds fantastic even without the lyrics and i cant imagine what'd it feel like during the moment
@@KonnivA It's just really early , plus it fits Ender Magnolia too since almost all Ender Lilies theme contains piano with a melancholic tone.

I wouldn't be surprised if its an ender magnolia song, that clinking instrument feels more appropriate for a more ambiental song, like what ender lilies/magnolia has for most of its soundtrack. Though, I can't remember the last time Mili teased a song that was didnt have vocals in the final version.

In Dream of the Red Chamber is a satirical and tragic story about the mandarin class that exploited and trampled on the people. From the beginning, I knew this was definitely not a Canto filled with happiness and "World Of Wonder"
Well, has any canto been anything close to this “world of wonder”?
The city is basically the opposite to this conceptual “world”, it may at times hold a spark of wonder within in itself, but these small glimmers will revert back to the horror of the city’s foundation.

I don't know after knowing Mili and hearing Hero, Compass and fly my wings. I just somehow have a feeling it won't have any chinese instrument or chinese vibe in the song.
EIM might be working with those but Mili always seem to be the one to contrast the mood for the finale fight.

@archerdamo9160 thats ruina im talking about limbus theme right now, aside from patches of violet all of mili song has been contrasting to the mood in the game
for fly, my wings it kinda makes sense since although the original material is korean it doesn't really refer to culture much
I don’t think it’s ender Magnolia (unless this is a re-recording of a song because the game comes out in January) BUT this could be for another game
Mili makes music for other gatchas (promise of wizard I know of both I feel like they’re getting more commissions)
But I kinda have a hunch it could be for DEEMO 2 as they’re now on better terms with Rayark (see the Muse Dash collab using gunners in the rain as the MAIN song)
And DEEMO was were they started getting fans (myself included) and it’s been a year since gunners in the rain (see Rayark using AI and AWAAWA releasing what robots need)
I think Mili only made like very little, few songs for Deemo, and none for their other games. But Rayark did quit including AI generated content so perhaps their relations did improve? This could be anything tho (lol)
A part of me is hoping it's an Arcaea original but that's probably unlikely ever gonna happen
@ DEEMO 2 they’ve only made 3 songs for but for the original 2012 DEEMO practically all of Magi Mel and Miracle Milk were for the games.
Nine point eight and YG were featured in the movie. You can pinpoint the creation of the band within Cyrus 1’s update cycles.
As for the AI thing, it seems like they’ve wiped the whole concept but you never know, especially since a lot of their old composers haven’t come back and left around the time DEEMO 2 would of started development (VK, M2U, ICE had a very messy controversy etc) and the only composer that’s worked with Rayark before that’s still on with DEEMO 2 was Apollo program.
IDK, there seems to be some healing going on between the old composers, who knows what goes on.
And by only composer I mean one where the community knew them before and kinda took a similar responsibly to how KIVA was with Cytus 2 with composing the main theme and important story songs as Rayark trusted them
nah thats not it, too early. kasai starts uploading his limbus song progress 1-2 months before the new season starts, we have two examples of this with through patches of violet and hero so we can say that is the pattern now. theres still like 5 months for honglu chapter. this is most likely ender magnolia, its just similar sounding to his cantos possible theme
Original plan was 4 months per canto. 6 months is just the thing PM does these days because they lack of contents. But for music producers like Mili, 2 months after the current Canto to collect feedback and create new song is plausible.
