I think Melodie shouldn’t be able to gain notes by hitting the Heist safe. It just makes her too brainless in Heist, especially considering she already has no issues travelling to the safe. The only other brawler who has a mechanic that gives some sort of power up upon hitting an enemy (Bea) only has it activate when hitting a brawler, so I don’t see why Melodie doesn’t have that restriction
Edit: Ash also doesn’t gain rage from non-brawlers
I suppose either the coder forget about this thing OR they want her to suffer less in SD (Like you can't get cubes quickly with those low damage af shots if you can't spawn notes)
I suggest both attack and notes deal the same damage, then Melodie might have less frequently using super to approach enemies

@@user-zm5ft4xp7k I agree with you, I definitely feel on some level that they made her like this because they didn’t want to make a brawler bad in the most popular mode (that’s why I suggested not gaining notes from the Safe in specific). The casual mode shouldn’t be what they balance brawlers off of, which is why I find it silly

Balancing shouldn't be based on casual because it's, well, CASUAL. People do not care for the complicated meta part of the game there, buffs and nerfs are supposed to be for more pro players. Example: Frank is OP in casual because boobs don't know how to handle him, but Fe above 5k trophies and he's basically useless.

I just think that supercell shouldn't nerf the base stats of a brawler when the HC is broken. Like, Lou and Maisie weren't that good without HC. The HC was amazing. But rather than nerfing the HC, they just nerf the brawler so now, a brawler who is weak or average without HC becomes bad.
I remember playing Lou before his Hyper and he was fine, he was a good A-B tier, so yeah, it's definitely a hypercharge problem and not a base stats problem

I still think the easiest way to buff Janet is simply to buff her main attack damage a little bit. From the time she was meta, a lot of new brawlers that counter her have been released as well as hypercharges which makes her struggle a lot since she lacks damages so a small buff in damage will certainly not make her as broken as she was before, just viable hopefully.
On the other hand, she still has a problem with her Star Powers, but the problem isn’t that the first one is bad, it is that the second one is essential to make Janet at least playable; so just make her second Star Power base kit and then add a new Star Power.
It could be a lot of things as well:
- Super’s bombs leave fire behind
- Double damage to non-brawler
- 10% progressive damage ramp-up the more you charge your attack (if you don’t buff base damage)
- healing in her Super
- Janet attacks doesn’t take shields into account (Pokemon ref since she has sound based attacks)
- etc…
A lot of those ideas seem broken but you can for sure balance some of them and you have to remember her first Star Power is really good, it’s just that Janet is unplayable without Vocal warm up.

I agree with making that sp base kit, besides that I personally feel shes fine, just meta issues rn that might disappear when the nerfs happen
im also a janet main and i’m totally down for those changes, vocal warm up is just so essential to play her and yes it would be logical to make this sp one of her abilities in her basic kit. Her first star power has SO MUCH potential but again the fact that it is a bit long to concentrate the attack is making this star power almost non usable…
@@Fluffy_W I actually think she’s a lot better than some people make it seem, still she is on the weak side so I wouldn’t say no to a slight buff.
And the meta could be a problem but it has been like this since the release of hypercharges, low DPS brawlers struggle to keep up with the higher pace of the game and receiving an hypercharge themselves doesn’t compensate it fully so that’s why a lot of low DPS brawlers have been receiving buffs recently. Janet is a low DPS brawler atm and doesn’t make an exception to this!

Honestly it would be cool if they slowed him to normal movement speed while drawing his shot. Many other games have this mechanic and it feels really cheesy that he can chase people down and easily dodge while holding a 4.4k damage shot
Yeah, and some Brawlers even have this to a lesser amount like Lola, where shooting makes you slower

SAM NEEDS A CHANGE!!!
My balance concepts:
- Sam's super now heals him baseline;
Hearty Recovery now heals Sam for 700 for each enemy his super hits.
- Sam's super recharges itself in 8 seconds after throwing his knuckle busters away
- Remote recharge is completely reworked: Sam can retract his knuckle busters after 4 seconds (instead of the normal 8)
- Pulse repellent is reworked completely; Upon activation, his next super doesn't stay on the ground, and instead returns to him like a boomerang, pulling enemies along with it (similar to Gray's walking cane)
- Sam's attack Damage, super damage and HP are increased by 5% (so that he's useful without HC)
- Mythic Gear: Reinforced Magnets: knuckle buster pickup range is increased by 100%
- Hypercharge: Iron fists: Sam's Super now slows down enemies and leaves a burning trail which sets enemies on fire, dealing ticks of 500 damage for 5 seconds
Many people think Sam is a healthy, balanced brawler with his uses in the meta, but that's clearly not the case. His kit feels awkward, and without Magnetic field + Hearty recovery, he's completely useless. If Spen sees this, then please, consider implementing this :). My boy Sam has been garbage for way too long.
i think buffing hanks super charge rate and as you said revert the nerf would be pretty good, but i think you could buff his damage to 4400 to make him on par with angelo
Darryl definitely needs some love, he has always been one of my favorite brawlers from a fun aspect. He’s a super fun brawler to play, but in his current state it’s not fun at all. Lol. I think they should give him a slight attack range increase and buff his shield star power to 3 seconds.

Maisie needs more justice. Yes she's my main. Yes i dropped from 1350 to 1150. But what made her good was her consistent super. Nerfing her hypercharge rate: fair enough. But her super rate was too much. I reckon she'd be B-Tier or A-Tier if her super charge rate was reverted, but leaving the hypercharge rate, which is the ideal spot for her. But idk.
What about making charlie dmg scale a bit depending on the range so that she deals more damage from long range. This way you need to caculate if the faster reload speed is better than the extra dmg and deciding if you shouls keep a distance or push

Nerf Hank
A good Melodie nerf regarding her insane utlity in brawl ball, is that she would be unable to use her ammo whilst one super or more out of the three has been used. The damage reduction is literally negligible due to her poor attack output, so it wouldn't detriment her too much. Obviously she needs further nerfs, but this is good to prevent brawl ball cheese.
I think supering the ball in brawl ball should just immediately eat up all 3 super charges.

I think that good nerf to melodie could be that when she uses her gadget (the shield one) all the notes that did the shield will disappeare (lets say you have 2 notes and you use the gadget so the two notes will disappeare and form the shield
Instead of removing the slow on auto aimer can we have the knockback removed Instead?? Even without the slow its still just gonna give her more ammo with snappy sniping, and allow her to deal more damage through her damage scaling.
Keeping ony the slow still allows her to deter brawlers like bull or jacky who try to run up on her, without doing the same to assassins. She already has an insanely strong disengage and wall break in her super, she doesnt need more.
Just my two cents.
The real issue with this gadget is that it works with Snappy Snipin effect and this shi doesn't make sense at all ._.

coming from a piper main i think she needs actually nerf, remove the slow from auto aimer and then remove the .4 ammo addition from the sp that she gains from both gadgets (including homemade recipe) and i think that's the way to nerf her, if that doesn't do anything probably nerf the damage from 3.4k to 3.3k or another hp nerf like 6% nerf or smth

i think brawlers like Byron and Nita who havent been meta in a long time need to stay like #6-9 in the meta but Nita HC does charge so incredibly fast

Even though lily is kinda decent right now I think she needs a rework. I think her first starpower should be baseline since she's terrible without it. I came up with a starpower idea that let's her next attack after her super heal her. Also rework her shadow realm gadget. It's too easy to escape with it. I think she should only be able to use it when she's above 50% health. Also she kinda needs a small range buff
the best way to nerf piper is to just nerf that stupid snappy sniping star power, thats what hyper counters assassins or tanks, piper goes from sniper to machine gun whenever a tank gets near them
Melodie's shield gadget is pretty much Ash's healing but 10x better, she doesn't even lose her notes which aren't as hard to gain as full rage bar with Ash
I honestly dont mind gene and max being meta (except for maxs uber long super) cause they actually require some game knowledge,haven’t been meta in a while, and are less toxic than many other brawlers- looking @ u charlie >:(
Maybe a good way to buff Doug is to add the tank trait to him, every time he takes damage, charge some super, in a brawler that respawns with the super, this could be very good
Easy way to nerf Charlie is by making her attack piercing... By doing this she can't unload so fast
Something that just came to mind was increasing Penny's turret attack rate.
This will make her better at what she's good at: Annoying and the enemy with her mortar and map control with the fire trail. And to make it even more punishing, maybe increasing the fire's damage by an extra 3%.
For me personally on how would I buff doug is just like what you said buff the healing to 1800 hp, but at the same time adds a super charge area that's the same like buster that requires teammates to be in there to charge it, since both of them are support tanks, so it would makes sense for doug to have that charging area as well.
I don't know if it would make him too op or not but this is just my opinion.
I think they should put vocal warm up in Janet’s base kit and give her a new star power, and then probably replace the 2nd star power cause it’s just not good, there’s gadgets that can do the same thing
Those brawlers that need their first super to get going should get a new trait or mythic gear that charges their super like halfway when the match starts. This way some of the trash brawlers that rely on their super could get a lot stronger. This will also increase their skill level, for you need to chain supers in order for these brawlers to be good.
for charlie spider speed needs to be cut in half the super shouldnt make it so you drop gems and allow healing inside the super
I have built a list of Chester buffs and reworks on a Note.
Like, a general buff to his Supers, turning the Bell o' Mania SP a baseline, and replacing it by _Lots o' Jokes_ , which enhances all of it's Supers in different ways.
Not forget to replace Sneak Peek Star Power, for _Peekin' Out_ which Chester reveals the enemy brawlers, Supercharge and the Gadget the brawler is using.
I feel like Cordelius was sliding out from the top 10 since the beginning, until they decided to give him a Hypercharge.
But how do you plan to show the brawlers star power, gadget etc
Angelo nerf could be that as he charges his shot his movement speed is reduced
With Angelo I’d like to see a range nerf before a movement speed nerf. Making him very fast gives him a nice distinction from other sharpshooters, but he shouldn’t have that and the same range as Piper, Belle, and other normal movement speed sharpshooters. His movement speed technically makes the range longer, too, because he can outrun his targets and close the gap. Basically I’d prefer for him to be mobile but not have the area of effect he has now.
I genuinely think nerfing the cannon but making it so you can do split shots on it would be really fun. Maybe would have to nerf her damage a bit too
The Angelo nerf also should come with a new mechanic for him and hank

I like your idea of balance but I think another brawler to buff is Lily and these are the changes that Let them do it:shot cooldown buff or more damage and a rework on his super where he can now pass through walls
They have to make Angelo fire his shot after a certain duration, otherwise he’ll just receive damage nerfs until he is useless. 1 idea for Melodie is to make is so she doesn’t get notes from pets so there are actual ways to counter her in ranked. But she’d still be overpowered in ranked, especially brawlball.
I think reducing her health to 5900, slowing down her projectile speed to Bonnie's level, and increasing the hits required to get a note to 2 would be a better nerf.
@@1234hypercharge5900 AT MAX LEVEL?!?! Thats wayyyy to harsh of a nerf. Ur basically changing her from 4200 to 2950 hp which is HUGE. Her projectiles deal too little damage to be that slow, and 2 hits for a note is overkill. Shell be so useless if these would happen

Nerf/ borderline rework idea: the longer Angelo charges his arrow, the slower he gets
I think they can kind of rework Charlie’s main attack. Her main attack will be dependent on range: min. 650 dmg, max. 1500 (yes, damage nerf 1600->1500) and bringing back her unload speed how it was on her release. It won’t make her very dominant in close range but you can just rush her because she can spam attacks again
Maybe make it so that when Frank attacks, he also damages a small area around him so brawlers cant dodge him so easily
They need to give doug a speed trait that activates when he doesn't get hit.
maisie is actually criminally underrated if you know how to play her for example not auto aim at any ranges if the opponent is going sideways and good positioning on the hypercharge
Penny needs a buff to her reload speed, her attack is awful in a 1 and 1 fight and the fact that it takes so long to get more ammo makes it even worse.
i think very fast movement speed on a marskman is special which no other marksman really has

Chester is broken at low level and awful at a high level so I think a reload speed or range buff might be good for him
Instead of rework, I think you should say adding it to basekit, for bellomania and vocal warmup. As a Mandy main I think in my sights also deserves the basekit treatment like incendiary and balls of fire 😍
I feel like for melody instead of getting 3 supers she could only get one, but you charge to get a 2nd and 3rd super if you hit shots
i personally use chesters title and let me tell you it is not fun to push it bc you get the same awful super like 3 times in a row (the like ground circle rock thing)
The problem with Spen's takes is that he seems to forget that most "broken" brawlers he mentioned in 1 event are trash in another (couple of exceptions) so by nerfing what makes them worth anything, you make them non-playable in anything.
I think Darryl needs full kit rework that Penny had, changing his base kit a little bit (like super charge rate or it's length, main atack having less projectiles, bur each deal more damage so his atack is not useless in mid range) and reworking all of his star powers and gadgets

I think they should rework some hypercharges. Brock’s makes his super worse and sprout’s doesn’t do anything unless ur in heist and primos doesn’t really help him out that much in terms of super cuz it’s really the same amount of knock back and in some cases is actually bad for you.

I think Melodie just needs a second cd or 2 seconds between dashes, or she gets her super in 2 hits but she needs an in between damage tick like Stu, prolly too similar
I am a big fan of Angelo, and I actually really like your ideas for nerfs.
Making his super take longer to get (3 fully charged arrows) sounds quite reasonable, as well as his arrow charge being cancelled if he holds it for too long.
I think the very fast movement speed is fine, as long as they nerf the things you mentioned. He'll still be fun, just not as oppressive.
As a mentally unhealthy Frank main, I just hope that his upcoming Hypercharge makes him viable again, but in a balanced way although not as trash as Sprouts HC. Hope Adrian cook some good shi with my hammer boi
Angelos movement speed while aiming should be nerfed and projectile speed should be slowed to make him slow but deadly and have more of a skill cap
Don't have the gold to get hypercharges so it's a little annoying when a brawler's hc makes them top tier/broken, resulting in nerfs that don't just hit their hc.
Make El Primo oneshot tanks
I think a great Maisie Buff would be to revert back her super charge nerf from 4 hits (current) to 3. And instead, nerf her super *REcharge* rate from 3 to 4.
Therefore when hitting 1 brawler with her super, you'd still need 3 ammos to get it back thus nerfing her super cycling while giving back her defensive playstyle.
Max and gene finally get back in the meta and they need a nerf? The max nerf is reasonable with the time duration but they shouldn’t touch her outside of that. Gene needs a buff to his hyper charge, but should be nerfed elsewhere
5:22 Charlie needs her supercharge rate nerfed from 7 hits to 12 hits
Her super is already fundamentally broken, nerfing her super hard would make you think when to use her super. Of course if it was just that nerf she would easily be F tier so to compensate she would need her hypercharge rate buffed from 1.66 supers to 1.25 supers, her range is increased by half a tile, and her projectile speed is slightly buffed. I think that would make charlie much more balanced.

My Star Power Reworks for Kit:
Power Hungry gets replaced with Cartoony Superstar, which gives Kit an additional 125% power per kill, so that it can be used in 3v3. (This is a more skillfull SP)
Overly Attached gets added to the base kit and gets replaced by Purrsonal, which reduces the damage that Kit takes by 75% when on an enemy.
Hank changes:
GIVE HIM THE TANK TRAIT!!!!

Melodie could just lose the ability to get notes from hitting non-brawlers. It would allow brawlers with pets or turrets to counter her and she won't be able to melt the safe as easily as she will need to keep her notes up. A small dash range nerf as well won't hurt

I believe the brawlers on the nerf list are OP because of their play style, not their stats. You can't really nerf their playstyle because that ruins the brawler, so you have to nerf the stats to make the playstyle less rewarding. For example, a gene dmg nerf wouldn't remove the resourcefulness of his split shot and team heal. Also for Piper, it's just annoying facing a sniper who can distance brawlers from herself, when getting close to her is the only way to fight back, but that's the whole point of Piper, so you can't nerf that.
Piper used to be a balanced brawler that required skill, but now she deals 2k dmg when she's close and can pretty much stun you for 0.5 sec and slow you down so dodging isn't an option
Kit also needs a Nerf right now he bullies tanks, sharpshooters and throwers with the damage
A good way probably would be to Nerf damage slightly and rework his invis gadget to a 50 % shield for 3 seconds because why would a support brawler need to go invis .
Are you a showdown player?, also tanks destroy him because he has to get in their range range to fight them but he doesn’t have the dps to kill them, he is balanced he doesn’t need anything

He can't do that against tanks but surely against other brawlers. You can pick him in every passive modes but I wish his star powers get reworked so that he will be good in hot zone and gem grab too
Yea I am showdown player and those who say that I m noob go 1v1 a kit as a bull or darryl if the kit knows what he is doing no matter what u do u will loose.......just to save ur time - he will do 2k damage at max range and u will do like 700 and if u somehow get ur super and charge on him he can jump away

They NEED to fix melodies notes spawning in her when she gets one. It almost makes her unkillable in close range

piper autoaimer gadget guarantees a knockback and a piper shot onto the enemy which is making her too cheesy and noobie. They should just nerf the projectile speed of the autoaimer gadget so its really difficult to hit in the first place at a 2 tile distance or remove the “auto” part of it and allow her to aim it on the enemy by herself by giving her one extra ammo, so it prolongs the duration thats required by the player to go havoc with the gadget and spam shots
I think Maisie’s super should charge 40% per hit and her base attack 30% this way if you hit 1 person with the super it takes another 2 hits and not 3
I think Gene is completely fine right now, his hypercharge could get a slight buff even
