Our madaris are best in the world, foreigners come here to study. Arabs, Turks consult our Ulemas. Not just education, Afghan Taliban, who defeated NATO, are/ were students of Pakistani madaris. Reason being, our Ulemas follow Sunnah in true spirit, no compromises :)

Only way out is to focus and reform govt schools and make them compatible to international standards , this way madaris will become redundant automatically
In Pakistan government schools have no qualified teachers however in Madaras not only teachers are incompetent the curriculum is biased and worst students experience is trauma and as vicious cycle circulate year after year. We should give zero contribution to Madaras in the name of charity while they should self sustained as fees.

Like every other private industry, why would these Molvis want to register their businesses with a government that offers no incentives? Apart from the religious aspect, I personally believe that madrasas contribute little to society. Along with teaching deen, they should also impart duniya (worldly knowledge) to help attendees become contributing citizens.

The issue you have highlight with respect to university seems irrelevant as this is not responsiblity of creating jobs for their students it is the responsiblity of state to cretae job for this youth, The main duty is to create minds that can think creatively and critically and to behave like a citizten that contribute positively to society not necessarily in financial term, which i agree that pakistani universities have alot to reach but they are on path in some way, the same goes with Madaris but unfortuantely they are unable to create such minds that fulfill and understand the need of the society and act accordingly.

the madaris people dont accept knowledge of other subjects and vice versa for the normal schools.
whereas Islam permits amalgamation of both the islamic and the worldly knowledge.
The Example comes from battle of badr where the non believer prisoner were instructed to teach muslims in order to gain their freedom
so was the custom of every corner of world since beginning. Carthage prisoners were relocated to roman hubs for their engineering, musical, medical expertise etc. Mongols took from Jin dynasty; European invaders took from native Americans and so on. It's important to learn non-religious topics and from a non-religious perspective or the education would be redundant.

Like every other private industry, why would these Molvis want to register their businesses with a government that offers no incentives? Apart from the religious aspect, I personally believe that madrasas contribute little to society. Along with teaching deen, they should also impart duniya (worldly knowledge) to help attendees become contributing citizens.
