  • Elegant lace stitch in only 2 pattern rows! This knitted lace is perfect alone or combined with other patterns for a detailed look from a very simple pattern. Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton is used in the example, but this stitch looks fantastic in many of my favorite yarns: Cascade Yarns linen cotton blend, Hampton, gives beautiful drape and stitch definition; Lion Brand Coboo knits very nicely for a light, Summer project; Cascade Yarns Sunseeker Shade is an easy care acrylic cotton blend; and Lion Brand Truboo is a gorgeous bamboo fiber that is all about sheen and drape.

thanx u should mention that the left decrease you slip as if to K, I think I have mostly seen this slip as if to P, I have even seen slipK slipP variations. Also I would like to see how edges look with your method. There are so many selvage approaches I can never keep them straight, but I will experiment with this. I have problems picking up the yarn overs if there are YO K YO I have found I lose some and stitch count off so often, errors. Grrrr not easy for my mind to focus.

Thanks for the feedback! You are so right about selvage variations. Whatever works best for you on your current project is The Best Method. Have you tried holding stitches --particularly yarn overs -- with your index finger to keep them from falling off of the needle? I had to go back and watch to make sure, and I do use the slip as if to knit, slip as if to knit, then knit both stitches through the back loops for left leaning decreases. Whew. I'm pretty sure that is my go-to method. I hope you found the video useful and even helpful. Again, I do appreciate the feedback tremendously. Take care of You.
