are you planning on doing a "where to find" on fiery soultrap in the near future? not that i need to know where it is but the enchantment is (imo) one of the most useful in the game and new players could benefit greatly from knowing about it.

I personally use the Black Star with the Mace of Molag Bal instead of Azura’s Star because unlike Azura’s Star, the Black Star can basically hold souls of any type due to a developer oversight and just like Azura’s Star, the Black Star is reusable
@@jordanrcxd Also even if the Glitch didn’t exist, Souls from Humanoids are always the equivalent of Grand Soul Gems while you need to kill very specific enemies to get a Grand Soul.

@@seancosby9269 lol yeah hardly I'll tell you what he really is though, blessed. Got out on the mistakes of the system and it saved his life. He definitely did that to all those women, nearly all at least. I used to be skeptical thinking maybe it was all for the moneyy but since seeing some of the stuff I've seen while he was in prison it pretty much cleared everything up for me.
For anyone RPing a good character but still wanting the mace, remember that the priest is a follower of Boethia - the Daedric Prince of betrayal - whose followers please her by literally betraying people, including murdering those who trust them.
So it's what he would have wanted! The world is also probably better off without the guy.

Actually, when you first get to Markarth, you can save the woman who is about to be killed. You still get the related quest, just a few differences. And you don't need to leave the city either. Just go into a building then come back out to activate this.
That mace seems very fitting for a sort of Sauron esque battlemage build. Guess I know what my next playthrough will be about.
I play as a Dark Elf who worships Molag Bal, im a Vampire with the strong blood (the one that lets you become the vampire lord) and his mace is my main weapon
This and Dragonbane were the two melee weapons I brought with me into Skuldafn and Sovngarde. And it's good that it fills soul gems because it feels like it needs recharging all the time.

My favorite Skyrim weapon, I love getting souls then enchanting stolen jewelry and selling it to thief guild. Profit and fun!
You can save the person that is supposed to get murdered if you act fast enough
it is legit she thanks you for saving her & then goes into the inn. the diary you normaly find in there is hers if i recall correctly.
core unit the dialogue changes slightly so that instead of all the NPCs saying 'that lady was just killed in front of me!' or whatnot they say 'that lady was almost killed in front of me!'

You don't need to be fast at all. I found this out by accident today.
Do not enter Markarth by the normal way. Instead, do the drinking contest with the guy in the whiterun tavern. You will wake up in the temple of Dibella in Markarth, where you have to clean up a mess you made while beeing drunk af.
From there, you can just walk to the balcony above the marketplace and shoot the murderer with your bow.
I'm here 5 years later and this is my second favorite weapon
So I didn't know the mace had a connection with the Destruction tree. I'm kind off a skyrim beginner and my first character is a mage/melee Breton who uses destruction/fire skills in the left hand and melee in the right. Now that explains (with Flawless upgrade) why the mace has an attack damage level of 70 now.. I really thought it was just a legendary thing. Very cool to know and understand more of it now! (after 25 levels of having that thing)

Hey camel you can item dupe the mace so this you can dial wield them, and with grimhallow house changing white gems to black soul gems it can be a beast

Ahh, I'd forgotten about the magical beheading abilities of Skyrim's many maces...
It's really good with Azura's black star.
The first time i played this quest. I was at my dad's house. The quest already gave me chills just from the name and i was sure something was gonna jump out at me. In original skyrim (didn't see it in SE) The booming voice is accompanied by the lights flickering. Well the first time they flickered, the lights IN MY IRL HOUSE did the same and the tv and xbox shut off. Needless to say I almost shat myself
Right after I talk to Molag Bal for the first time it always freezes when I try to leave. This is on my no mod PS4 play through. I think it has to do with the games latest patch.
Never thought this was that good but it was cool. Id rather summon daedra and use bound bow in ebony mail idk

How do you start the quest if you have killed Vigilant Tyranus?
I always get black star and this weapon to get some mad enchant levels. Make sure most of your kills are human and recharge after every hit
If you're quick, you witness no killing.
You can get a mace that looks like the Molag Bal mace at BudK (Jagermace by night watchman) 🤷♂️

Is damage stamina and damage stamina *really* that good though? It's not like you're absorbing it, or inflicting elemental damage. The problem with daedric artifacts is that you can *usually* make a far superior weapon via smithing and enchanting.

Fun Fact: If you're fast enough, you can prevent the killing and save the would-be victim. Your reward is the key to the victim's room in the in where there is a pretty decent amount of gold and a few bits of jewelry. My memory of the loot in the room is a bit foggy, so I may be off on that, but I know for a fact you get the key.
