- The Miami Cuban Link is one of the most popular chains in the world. A lot of hype and rightfully so. Question is, do you need a Miami Cuban Link to get a nice link chain look? The Miami Cuban is the kind of link chains but there's plenty of other options out there. Not everyone can afford the weight that a good quality Miami Cuban Link requires. I wanted to feature some 10+MM chains in this video and talk about the difference. A nice 12MM figure or 13.5MM flat curb will give you a great look for the gram weight/ price. This applies to any width that you want to compare. I do think everyone needs a Miami Cuban Link in their collection but there's plenty of other chains that will give you a great look. I love my Jacoje 24 inch 12MM Figaro! It’s nice and heavy and definitely a manly mans chain!! No matter what style you go with if it’s over 10MM it’s a mans chain! Budget wasn’t an issue for me I just prefer the Figaro look over the flat curb and Miami Cuban link. That’s just me though! Keep it up Braden! Thanks again man! exactly. miami cuban link on the wrist is the way to go. 8mm is the sweet spot without being to loud. I was about to get a figaro bracelet in 8mm as well instead of the cuban but even my girlfriend said that the cuban bracelet looks more masculine

Let me let you guys know right now. I copped a 14k 6mm gold rope chain a month ago. I use it as an everyday chain. It’s a thiccy and definitely a head turner! I wish I went bigger! But I love my chain it’s my first chain. Thanks Jacoje, you’re the man!

I meant to add this as a note to my most recent order, but I got too excited during the purchase lol. Anyways, I ended up getting my first chain from you about a month ago; a 1.2mm Franco, 24 inches. Let me just say that even with such a small chain, the quality IS there. I caught gold fever, and ended up getting another 1.2 at 20 inches, not even a month later. I love that layered look, and get compliments daily.

I've got Jacoje flat curb and Miami, and also a old figaro from my Dad; all are 5mm. The Miami is great in the way it hangs, and the overall quality feel, but the way that all Miamis are cut they can "roll" fairly easily. The flat curb looks very dense, and with the curved cuts is "blingier" than both, but it hangs more silky to your body, and if you are hairy it can get slightly caught. It's doesn't roll as much as the Miami can, but it can roll over. The Figaro is a great in-between because it hangs fairly well because of the mass, and does not roll like the Miami or flat can. However, it has more open space so less blingy than the other two.
If I were to buy something new, I am most interested in the Jacoje/Baby curb as it appears to be the best compromise of all the above 3, but I haven't tried one myself.

I still enjoy my flat curbs - 7mm 24 in. 14 k yellow gold chain and 8mm 8in. 14k gold bracelet I got from Jacoje. Still shines hard from earlier this year. I wear it mostly weekends as sometimes It’s too flashy for my everyday work, or if I wear it weekday it’s tucked in under my shirt. Then for usual everyday chain I have my francos- 3mm 22 in 14k rose gold chain and 5mm 8in yellow gold bracelet for work - usual outside my polo shirts or burton up shirts. I actually get more compliments at work with my Francos than the flat curbs. The older patients I have usually compliment the Franco’s, and the younger crowd with the flat curb...thanks Braden ...smashx3

Agreed. I actually sold my cuban link not too long ago. After seeing the franco chain I fell in love with it. So I totally agree I prefer ropes & franco's.

I feel da 6 sided curb cuban link chain resembles almost to a Miami cuban link chain. Because I bought a miami cuban link chain which was more expensive than my 6 sided cuban curb chain and observed da links very closely in detail. And there were 3 differences i noticed. 1st difference was that da 6 sided curb cuban link chain was a flat daimond shaped with little space gaps in between links whereas da miami cuban links had very very tight but da same daimond 6 sided curb style. 2nd difference da 6 sided curb cuban link had flat links with a little Plato hill like raise raise whereas da miami cuban link have like humps like speed breaker humps on da road. And 3rd and last one a cuban curb link chain and bracelet have a lobster clasps or lobster claw lock whereas a Miami cuban link has a box lock with triple locking clasp

Great video. Always been a fan of flat curbs. I've owned a 10 mm Italian curb for the longest. Was really comfortable. Imo I don't see flat curbs like they made in mid to late 90's. All the flat curbs I see now have larger open spaces. Anyone know why?
I know what you mean about the old school curb links. I call them concave curb links, you call them italian curbs. The older concave chains were thicker and have more of an angle/thick cut as opposed to the curbs nowadays which are flat. I’ve been looking for a concave curb for the longest time but they’re hard to find. Let me know if you have any interest in selling yours. Thanks
