I was at game 6. We were so deflated when this happened. We tried to chant warriors after he left but we all knew our hopes to win just got that much worse. When he came back on the court, the crowed erupted. The energy and excitement was intense. It was unreal.
Even though we lost and didn’t win the ship, Klay coming back on the court to show that he is an ultimate Warrior was one of the best moments I experienced at Oracle.
Chris I right, but he had a torn ACL and he started running back down the court to play D. That is all the way stupid and likely made his injury worse. Might have been a good moment for the fans, but screwed him over.

Last night, Klay came face to face with his devastating acl injury. Klay mustered up whatever energy he had left to go to the line and knock down 2 free throws as well before walking off the court. He’s willing to give his every last bit to the game just like his idol.

Most heart breaking moment I’ve experienced as a Bay Area sports fan. It was just something about this series, last game at oracle, for the three peat, that it somehow gutted me more than blowing the 3-1 lead in the finals.
As a warriors fan watching this, I felt Currys pain, having both KD and Klay go down in the same game. The “steph curry slamming the ball on the court in frustration” call summed up the moment he knew they weren’t winning.

It was them going for the 3 peat, the world speculating Durant leaving, draymond and Durant fussing, Them playing without Durant throughout the series struggling to close all those games, having Durant come back and play, only to see him go down, and that feeling that u cannot defeat a good raptors team with kawhi, and it was just tough because they were double teaming and extra physical with curry.
The truth is, we all had that odd feeling, Durant would leave, last game them all playing together, never ever a finals rematch, and a long road ahead.
But now, it may all come back together.

Curry is the key warrior, Draymond their emotional leader, but Klay is the player they could not do without, congratulations to the entire team but most particularly to Klay, for everything he battled through for the last 3 years. Consider that he was being doubled, and that he was the only real offensive threat on the floor for the warriors after KD AND KLAY went down. That makes it difficult to score much less get a good shot off. People are so ignorant to basketball (how it’s played, the defensive and offensive schemes, and many other small details). They’d rather not take the time to understand and just say, “well he didn’t score, or hit the shot, so he sucks.” These types of statements silently scream that you have no understanding of the game whatsoever.

Man its hard to hold back tears when watching back these final games. He teared his ACL and still barely can walk and made both free throws. He earned everybody’s respect 🙏
actually, someone told him that if he didn't shoot those free throws then he wouldn't be allowed to enter back in the game later. Unfortunately, we all know what happened next. One of the most heart-breaking moment for me as a bay area fan.

Can you imagine the pain he was going thru to not only sink those shots but to run it off after and almost look normal. It's essentially all adrenaline at that moint
He looked in a lot of pain initially but once he was up yeah the adrenaline probably made him think it wasn't as bad as it really was.
Having torn my ACL too, it’s the adrenaline, the first time I tore it I was considering coming back to the game, but 1 hour later the pain becomes unbearable once your body cools down and it gets worse the morning after
