Jelena Dokic's book was deeply moving. The dark side of tennis parents and child abuse. She's written a follow-up that I haven't got my hands on yet but I look forward to reading it. I have a lot of respect for her.
Can you please make a video discussing things to keep in mind when you are struggling to become a tennis pro? Like for players who are 19 or older, mistakes they generally make and tips for future like Andy himself says the he wasn't really good until he got a good coach so how to recognise and when to believe in a coach also why situation of tennis is bad in India what the organisation can improve and add. Agree 100%. Open was a great book that I couldn’t put down! I think ‘Breaking Back’ by James Blake is also worth a mention. A truly excellent and very inspirational book that changed my life in some very positive ways! Definitely worth a read as well. And finally, The Master (of course, based on Federer) is also an excellent read!
I love that Andre is now standing up for Kyrgios where so many others are totally misunderstanding what he's trying to do. I watched a Louis Theroux pod with Kyrgios in which Louis asked if he'd read Open and he said he had and got a lot out of it. When people on X make AI pictures of Sinner gloating over Nick in a coffin, and presenters talk about Nick as dead, I think he's got a lot more to deal with than Andre had. So let's hope he never writes a book. Andre never had social media to deal with. Here's hoping for a clean slate for everyone in 2025. Supportive and constructive.

My friends and I joked about Andre complaining about his Dad making him practice so much he ended up with $100M and married a superstar with even more money than he made. The only time Andre sanitized himself was when he admitted doing meth, which made him.....clean his house. He must have omitted at least a few wild nights in Vegas.

He played during a nadir in tennis. He wasn't much of an athlete, was charisma less and was only paid attention to because he was American.
Nope. Agassi is one of the greats, no question. One of the few men who has won all four slams, and has won 8 of them (tied with Rosewall, Perry, Connors, and Lendl). I have read pretty much all the biographies of most of the tennis players from the past to present. Agassi book isn't the best, but it isn't the worst. There are better ones. Especially from the pros from the 60s and 70s. Sampras book was very good. Sharapova and Monica Seles books may be 2 of the better ones. Andy name was in a tennis novel called "Red Dirt" which was a great tennis fiction novel
